I’ve been nudged. By rights, I should have been punched, considering the way I’ve been slacking over here. More than half a year has already past since I posted here. It never seemed that long to me, since I have been lurking around in various places on my f-list. But I guess a sign of life would be nice to some.
Well. I haven’t really been doing much other than being a mom and being a student. Exciting things don’t happen to people like me. In fact, my life has been really boring and uneventful.
A short while ago I read through some of my old entries, rifling through my writing projects. I miss writing (for myself and for the simple pleasure of writing) more than I thought I would. Perhaps I’ll continue some things in the summer holidays.
Another thing I should really work on some more is my community. I haven’t posted a photoshop tutorial in ages, and I said I’d post one around Easter time. *blush* It’s to be a tutorial on how to make a space scene, planets, star field and nebula included. -.-
I’m an idiot to have put a deadline on that.
But there you go. Viva la slackarina!
I hope that everyone has been having a good time. See you around, everybody!

James Oliver Rigney aka Robert Jordan died. He's been ill for quite a while now, but apparently he never recovered properly.
I've read many of his books. In fact, his The Wheel of Time series was what made me start reading English novels with a passion when I was 19. It's a shame that he has passed away now. It would have been nice to see what he would or might have come up with in future projects.

I was working on a tutorial, and ended up with an interesting background. I used that as a base for textures... or bases/background graphics etc.
I hope you like them.

I’m so rude!
I should have done this days ago.
There’s a new member on my f-list, and what’s really special about him is that he lives in the same city as I do! We met over at my community, and I don’t think we know each other personally at all. Coincidences, ne?
Anyway. The young man seems to be a multi-lingual multi-talent who’s into TV shows and icon-making. But I don’t know much about him yet, hehe.

A brief update before I have to run off to classes.
I would like to introduce someone new on my f-list, and wish her welcome to my journal.
For once, I’m certain it’s a she, hehe. She is a huge fangirl of the Asian pop/music culture. (I’m not sure about the exactness of this statement) and she’s learning Japanese… or about to start.
Other than that, she’s also into icon-making, and very good at her craft.

*roars* I have conquered the fires of fever! *thumps chest*
The battle was long and hard, but I was victorious all the same. My head doesn’t hurt anymore, nor do my eyes. Yay!
Well. My throat feels worse than before, though, and so do my ears. A trip to the doc is in need, and it’s about time they opened up their practices again. I wonder what kind of foul brews I’ll be forced to swallow in order to get better.
Anyway.
To the point of this post.
