I began writing this novel last year when I realized there were so very few stories about queer women in science fiction, queer women as protagonists and most importantly, queer female space ship captains. It shouldn't be this hard to find even mediocre stories about women piloting ships and falling in love with other women. But it was. So I started writing and planning but with so many things, it didn't go anywhere.

It wasn't until a friend showed me the Inkshares contest with Geeks & Sundry that I decided to take the plunge and put it up for people to judge.

So here it is.
