Actually I wasn't expecting receiving it. Since I live in China and all. But when I open my mailbox and find it lying in there. You can't imagine how excited I got.
Anyway, I can't make out any of those words so I might just wait until footloose post it on AO3 then.

I watched Merlin 409 and 413 again last night. Yeah, I did this again... It's like I'm addicted to Merthur somehow. I can neither help myself stop reading Merlin fanfic nor stop watching Merlin over and over again. And most of all, I believe I'm in vocation mode already and there is a REALLY BIG EXAM coming yet I can't find the eagerness to study WITH ALL MY HEART. I guess it's probably because I put all my heart in loving Merlin...
And all those Colin photos taken recently. Seriously, they are going to kill me. Because Colin is SO BLOODY BEAUTIFUL!!! And I want to see him in person so bad!!! But that's not going to happen... Knowing that pains me too much...
There is a new post on merlin_finders and there is someone looking for a specific Merlin fanfic which seemed really good and I want to read it too but no one has answered yet so... I'm just going to wait.
Anyway, I should probably stop wandering on the Internet doing nothing. BTW I don't know why but ever since I knew Carine had got a kindle paperwhite I want one too. I guess I was just being greedy...

It seems like every Merlin fan got a fanfic rec list of their own and I do have mine too.
Since I have read a lot of Merlin fanfics, I would not list all of them in this one journal in one time. I decide to add all my favorite Merlin Fanfics to this journal so maybe I would find someone who shared the same tastes with me. (The quality of the fanfics below are guaranteed, So if you haven't read some of them, feel free to click the links, and no worries needed that it would be boring.)

"What if I couldn't pass this exam."
"Don't think about that now" was what he started with and then he said a lot of things to comfort and encourage me.
I was crying so hard and couldn't stop wiping tears and snivel, then he turned back looking at me, "Go get some medicine for the cold."
"What?"I startled, "It's not even because of a cold!"
"It's not? Are you crying?"
And I was like... Alright... He didn't even notice that I was crying. Good job dad! I was trying so hard not to cry out loud and you just simply didn't notice! (But wait, shouldn't I be happy that I succeed?)
Anyway~ I felt good today. Dad's words were actually quite comforting and reasonable enough to make me see sense.

What You'll Find
I'm consistently looking for characters and relationships that are believable, organic, and true to the show and its potential. Nearly all fics listed deal with knowing/not-knowing about Merlin's magic (aka Angst), and Arthur and Merlin's relationship (shippy or otherwise). I'm also fond of Merlin's take on Arthurian legends, and Merlin's friendship with Gwen and Morgana. This list is surprisingly Gen, though pretty much everything has the undertones and subtext that the show has.
