Robert has always measured himself by the degrees of his father's frown. A tilt down and Robert was a disappointment. An even level and Robert failed to impress. A full scowl and Robert was the biggest mistake of Maurice's life.

But now Maurice is in a golden coffin, six feet under, quiet and gone.

Angel Falls : )

This surprises me because it isn't even a city and I want to travel to the ancient places, and the thriving metropolises, and to every corner of the world, but having to choose one place to photograph? Angel Falls, city or not.



It is, sincerely, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, even from pictures, and to see it with my own eyes would bring me to tears, doubtlessly. It would feel like a miracle and it would be a miracle, to have a place so stunning and untarnished by man. It would feel like being in the presence of God, whichever God, looking past the clouds and rain of water, and to be so moved by beauty and nature.
