20-20-20: Climb-Lagree-Stretch
"20-20-20" combines Studio Physique member favorites in 20-minute segments. Class starts on the VersaClimbers for low impact, yet intense - total body cardio. Then the group heads to the patented Megaformers for strengthening Lagree Fitness exercises. This Studio Physique session ends with the newly created, popular "Mega Stretch" series of relaxing moves designed to lengthen muscles, increase flexibility and send you on your way refreshed and re-energized.
Ass & Abs Megaformer
The Ass & Abs Megaformer Class works the booty, posterior chain, glutes, the entire ass, plus center abs & obliques in a 50-minute session. This class covers the 5 elements of fitness: strength training, cardio, balance & flexibility, endurance and body composition. Lagree Fitness targets both fast and slow twitch muscle fibers, toning long, lean muscle and torching fat. Ideal for ALL fitness levels looking to tighten and tone the most important & sexiest muscle groups.
Mega Abs & Arms
"Mega Abs & Arms" combines 2 of Studio Physique's most popular classes! Washboard Wednesday & Mega Muscle Megaformer Classes join forces! Every move in this 50-minute session is a full body, core-engaging exercise with special focus on abs, obliques & arm isolations. This Lagree Fitness based class is intense on muscles, yet still low impact - kind to joints and backs. "Mega Abs & Arms" is perfect for beginners and every fitness level. SP Trainers are expert in adding challenges and modifications to tailor this workout.
Mega Muscle Megaformer
The "Mega Muscle Megaformer" focuses on upper body, chest & arm work. The weight load also increases for both upper and lower body work. The Lagree Fitness full body benefits of leg, abdominal & oblique exercises are also included in this 50 minute class. Men and women, all fitness levels welcome!
Mega Stretch
"Mega Stretch" is a 30-minute session on the patented, spring-loaded Megaformers to lengthen and relax tired, tense muscles and connective tissue. Breathe and de-stress after your traditional Studio Physique workout or just check-in to unwind. Dim lights and mellow music help set the soothing tone.
Megaformer Total Body
The Megaformer Total Body Class works the entire body in a 50 minute session. Every Lagree Fitness exercise is a full body exercise. VersaClimber Total Body Cardio
"VersaClimber Total Body Cardio" is a 25 minute class - the 1st & only VersaClimber group fitness class in Tampa Bay - in ALL of Florida! A Studio Physique trainer guides the class - limited to 14 - through various tensions, speeds & strides to heart-pumping tunes on the VersaClimber. I had taken pilates previously and was some what prepared for how to move the body, but the actual FEELING of what you will get out of this workout is (in my opinion) 10x more impactful than what I ever got out of pilates. This matched what I was looking for, to build up stamina, feel challenged every day ( I still cant keep up and I've been going for months once or twice a week), they break up the class schedule so it fits pretty well for everyones schedules and areas of the body you are looking to work (very thankful for the after 5pm classes) and the most important thing that I love about the studio is that the coaches will learn everyones name. Class #2 the coach knew who I was and that meant a lot to me. This is by far one of the best workouts I have ever done. It tests your strength and endurance throughout the entire class and leaves you feeling strong and accomplished when you're finished. The only downside to this location is the lack of a water fountain and showers so make sure to bring your own water bottle or they have them there to purchase. Since I take the early morning class, I get ready for work afterwards and it would be nice to have showers there to do that.

Which class should I take for my Intro Class?
Any class that fits your schedule can be your Studio Physique Intro Class. The Megaformer Total Body class is highly recommended for your first session. Everyone works at their own pace. Highly skilled trainers give detailed instructions and assist every class participant with form and alignment. Trainers also offer modifications for people concerned about chronic pain or injuries. First-timers often train alongside members who have taken more than 200 classes and everyone experiences an effective workout.
Should I take a Private Session before joining a Group Class?
If you are recovering from injuries or have physical limitations, we recommend a Private Lagree Fitness session or a series of sessions prior to joining a group class. Working privately with a Studio Physique Trainer gives you extra attention to find the best modifications, ideal alignment and effective form for every exercise. Many SP Members interested in fine-tuning their Lagree Fitness training also opt for Private Sessions to enhance their experience and optimize individualized results.
What do I need to bring to class?
Grip socks are required on the Megaformers. Studio Physique offers a variety of grip socks for sale. Intro Class participants will receive $5 off a pair of socks their first class. Participants in the Cycle-Lagree VersaClimber classes wear workout shoes on the VersaClimbers for the first half of class, then switch to grip socks for the Lagree Fitness portion of the workout on the Megaformers. Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are recommended that allow bending and a full range of motion for arms, legs, back and stomach. Towels and water are recommended but not required. Water bottles and water are sold at Studio Physique. A free water bottle filling station is also available. Oh, and bring that great attitude and the willingness to sweat and shake and work hard and be ready to have FUN!
Should I eat before my workout?
Eating a light meal or snack 30 minutes to an hour before you workout at Studio Physique is recommended. Exercising on an empty stomach or while fasting can result in nausea or dizziness. Eating a well-balanced, nutritious meal or high protein snack after your workout is also recommended for optimal muscle recovery. Staying well-hydrated before, during and after your workout is encouraged as well.
What time should I arrive for class?
Please plan to check into Studio Physique 15 minutes prior to the start of your Intro Class. Your first visit to SP, trainers go through a mandatory equipment orientation. Please plan to continue to arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of classes to ensure proper equipment set-up and access to the facility.
How often should I take a class?
3 or more classes per week are recommended at Studio Physique for the best results. Many SP Members do take 4, 5 even 6 or 7 classes/week. They love the low impact workout and feel energized after classes. We encourage everyone to listen to their bodies and factor in recovery time to build strong, lean muscle.
What is the best deal for me?
The best value for the money is the Studio Physique Unlimited Membership. If you plan to take 2 classes a week or more, go with the Unlimited Monthly Membership. If you will be taking 1 class each week, the 5 classes/month. If you’re someone who travels often, the various Class Packages might be your best option. Studio Physique also offers 1 Week and 2 Week Unlimited Memberships ideal for people visiting the St. Petersburg or Tampa Bay area. SP always offers new member specials!
