Stream transcoder is a program (win32 UI/win32 service/unix command line) that can transcode a Shoutcast/Icecast stream (mp3/ogg vorbis) into any stream types that oddcast supports.
The following diagram shows how you can use STV3.
STV3 will only accept in MP3 or OggVorbis streams on input. These streams can be transcoded into any format supported by oddcastV3 and be sent to any server supported by oddcastv3. ST also uses the same encoding engine as oddcastv3, and thus the config files are interchangable.
