StopMotion Station 1.3

StopMotion Station is a wonderful application that allows users to create a simple animation with a webcam, DV camera, or video camera. With this program, users will be able to create awesome animations out of cartoons, toys, clay, etc. that can be later shared with the family or friends. The program is completely controlled with the keyboard (using customizable hotkeys) and is very easy to use. The series of frames are stored in a folder defined by the user. The users can select the order of the frames to play and the speed of play. The program features several capture options like the pixel aspect ratio, shoot aspect ratio, frame image quality, and flip image. It features a simple and not very attractive user interface, but it requires some knowledge on the subject to exploit all the benefits of the program. However, it includes a comprehensive manual and help file.
Some other options of the program are: the possibility to compare the camera image with the frames in the movie, using Onionskin or Flutter, full screen, special screen modes, immediate playback, ability to play the movie forward, backward, or ping-pong, and more.
