My name is Marina, I was born in ’83. I live in Florida, I’m married; I have no children, and never want to have any, but I do love animals and have a variety of pets at any given time. My favorite things in the world are reading, drawing, and writing.

My favorite things in the world are reading, drawing, and writing. I am an illustrator and writer specializing in fantasy illustration and character design. These days I mostly work on my own personal projects, but sometimes I do take commissions. You can learn about how to get one here.

I have several book series on which I work on simultaneously. Please look under “Meganeea” or “The Tale Of Horus” in the menu to read a couple of them for free! You can also support me via PayPal to keep these projects alive.

Online, I am represented by a little squirrel character who shares my name and personality, and whom you can see in the above GIF in the company of my site’s unofficial mascot, stuffed tiger Ricky Parky (a Build-A-Bear stuffed animal that I also own in real life.)

On this website you can find all of my art galleries and my books, and also my personal side in the form of my blog.

I created my blog mostly for myself. It sees few visitors, but it brings me a lot of happiness and satisfaction to work on it. Though it may sound odd, I consider myself the primary audience of my blog and I write to make myself happy first. I also write for my family’s enjoyment since a lot of it is our shared experiences.

This blog is my world and my life in one place. It contains years worth of my life story (though for the sake of preserving my sanity as far as digging up stuff to repost, most of it is from after I met my husband, Christopher). On the left sidebar, you will find a long, meticulous list of categories and tags, which you can use to find almost anything I’ve posted here.
