Today we were off to Edinbrugh for Eli to get his haircut, during this me and Leo would look at the shops and then all meet up for lunch afterwards!

Then Eli was off while we looked around, taking pictures of all the fun things of course ✨

I’ve been into the Waterstones in Edinbrugh before but never for longer than about 10 minutes so it was wonderful to get to have a nice proper look around

I really wanna get this book someday!

Aaaaand then disaster struck…my shoes that have been falling apart for…at least a year finally completely disintegrated right in the middle of Edinbrugh. Which was very frustrating because it wasn’t an expense that I was expecting. Thanks to my small feet I got very lucky in the childrens section of Sketchers, so yay new shoes I guess haha

After that, it was time to head to our lunch ( and fun time ) destination. This place was incredible, falafel is my current fixation food – I want to go back!

Afterwards we spent the rest of the afternoon looking at all the fun things around! A few things I really wanted but I have such a grasp on what’s left of my fun money…I struggle to spend it haha

I have never seen a charity shop with so many toys!

Another BIG REGRET especially because I need pencil crayons, next time I see these irl I am for sure getting them

Before our train we sat in a park and fed the pigeons crumbs from our cookies

Got this lovely bag off of Vinted for Β£1, sadly it came with a hole in the back so will need patched up later. But I had to work on personalising it as soon as it arrived!

🍜Maki & Ramen

I was invited to hang out with Eli & his coworkers so we went somewhere we wanted to try for an early Valentines Day dinner, Maki & Ramen!

Unfortunately it was incredibly disappointing, first off even though I got a normal one it was so spicy I could barely eat it, I also wasn’t a fan of how the tofu was cooked. For the price it was a huge let down…

So much so that the next day we had to make our own at home which was a million times better πŸ˜… Now I’m kind of put off trying ramen out again

First thing in the morning Eli & I went out to meet-up with Leo before he headed to the airport.

First stop before looking around the shops was lunch! We had Nandos

I saw many fun things in the shops and had a small selection of fun money left from my birthday, I knew this is the last of my “non-essentials” spending so was too scared to buy anything. Looking back I greatly regret this but πŸ˜… what can you do. This will continue to be a trend for me into the future as well lol

I had a birthday coupon for Hobbycraft so did end up getting one thing, some storage for my crayons

I was really happy when we got home and my crayons fit perfectly in the holder, so yay! We spent some time coloring-in the large dinosaur poster I’ve had for years but somehow every time we forget to color it in. We decided to do one dinosaur every time until it’s done

Sleeping without Eli always stinks and is super hard

🌈Saturday

Took today super chill, watched some Puffin Rock in the morning, did some grocery shopping later. Then colored!

The next day we were headed off to the Glasgow museum! Saw some friends on our way to the train station

This was Pickle’s first outing and with some encouragement I carried him around the museum with us

The art was stunning on this ruler

Once we were done in the museum we had a look around a few shops in Glasgow, missed our train so played with art supplies, then missed our train again because we were playing with art supplies haha

This night was a bit easier because I warmed Macca Pacca up

🌈Monday

We spent the last day playing toys…and when Eli came home he brought us both a friend! For me Chip the Herring Gull, for Leo Zoot the Jerboa

Hello! I just wanted to say I’m super sorry for the inactivity over here, I have been going through a lot of large life changes and have not been coping well, as a result I have found that it’s not left me with a lot of free time

If I am honest due to my circumstances now I am working 24/7 and rarely find a moment to do anything aside of that πŸ˜… I’m going to start from today to post my backlog but it might take awhile ( all posts will have the original dates written on them )

This isn’t a blog dedicated to my art, but I am doing commission work full-time now! With this change I really wanted to dedicate time to begin streaming my art on Twitch, it would mean a whole lot to me to see you there! I stream Mondays: 12-4PM Wednesdays: 7-10PM Saturdays: 12-4PM ( UK timezone ) and you can find my Twitch here
