Our people work flexibly on a hybrid working basis – we appreciate the benefits they bring for many of our people and provide proper support and tech to enable effective remote working. However teamwork and human interaction are also important – our offices form hubs where we can come together to collaborate and all team members are expected to spend time face to face with their colleagues.
We have a great group of trainees here at Square One Law who all support each other and are supported by the whole team. We’re not going to say any more as they kindly agreed to put together a video to tell you more about what it’s like to be a trainee here. Even if you’re not interested in becoming a trainee, it’s worth a watch!
There are now a variety of routes to qualify as a lawyer. We’re on the lookout for ambitious people with drive who have a proven track record of a good academic background, a passion to work in a commercial firm, combined with outstanding people skills and evidence of successful team working.

Committed to creating a fair, inclusive and diverse culture
We value the individual. Everyone can bring something different to a business – different skills, different perspectives and different experiences. We are building a business that not only values diversity and inclusivity but also leverages these qualities as strengths. Our aim is to foster a collaborative environment where differences are celebrated and contribute to our unity. This approach ensures that our team operates cohesively, thriving on, rather than just accommodating, our differences.
Every two years we collect and publish voluntary information collected from our lawyers and support staff to measure equality and diversity within our business. We submit this information to the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority (SRA) for monitoring purposes, and as part of our commitment to the regulator.
