This year has reminded us of something deeply powerful: SGAC has always been more than an organisation — it is a community that shows up for one another. Across continents, cultures, and generations, we have continued to open doors, connect talent, and create opportunities that many of us once experienced ourselves. In moments of uncertainty, it has been this shared commitment — member for member — that has kept SGAC moving forward.
As the year comes to a close, we invite our community and alumni to help carry that legacy onward. Many of us were once supported by SGAC — through a first conference, a scholarship that made participation possible, a mentor who believed in us, or a network that helped us find our place in the space sector. Today, we have the opportunity to ensure that those same pathways remain open for the next generation. Your year-end contribution directly supports scholarships, programs, and initiatives that continue to invest in young professionals and students around the world.
Like much of the space sector, SGAC has navigated a challenging financial landscape this year while remaining committed to putting people and opportunity first. A year-end staircase goal of USD 25,000 increments, will allow us to close the year on strong footing and begin the next one ready to keep serving our community — without compromise. This season is about gratitude, continuity, and believing in what comes next. Together, we can support the community that once supported us — and ensure its impact reaches even further.

Your donation is pooled which means that even smaller contributions can make a difference, e.g. to fund scholarships for members to attend regional events or to support general activities of SGAC.
If you would like your donation to be used for a specific event or scholarship, please indicate this during the process.

How does our Alumni Fund work?
All donations are processed online in US dollars. You can pay the donations using a credit card or through bank transfer (US only). We collect your name and email address in order to recognise your support; however, anonymous donations are also accepted. You may also provide a mailing address (optional) which we will use to send a personalized thank you. We would also love to publicly recognise your contribution to SGAC on the SGAC website.
Your donation will go directly to SGAC activities. In addition, you have the option of covering the payment processing fee, which ensures that SGAC does not have to bear this cost and that your donation reaches its full impact. All donors will receive an automated receipt for their donation.
