| Who: Gilbert Nightray and YOU! Where: On the edge of the Shopping and Residential District Style: Third person bracket or prose! Status: Open Backdated: to the morning of the 20th
The light spray of rain splashing his face was a most unwelcomed wake up call. Nor was the rock digging into his side as he turned over, pushing himself off the ground and shaking his head to clear it of the cobwebs. What in the world... Oh. There was goo all over his hands. And his clothing. ... and he was in his nightclothes! Gil quickly pulled his coat closed, looking around furtively before ducking underneath the awning of a nearby shop front. It's when he steps soundly into a small puddle that Gilbert, alas, realizes he also appears to be missing a shoe. Swearing, Gil stared at his foot and shook it free of water. He was bewildered, cold, and definitely wishing he was anywhere but here. But first, the facts:
... He was dead.
Frantically feeling around in his coat pockets, Gil unearths his dreamberry and rattles off a quick call to Oz. Nothing much, pure gibberish! How in the world could he explain to Oz that he wasn't there to wake up the master, lay out the clothes and arrange the breakfast? Such a scandal!
Even if Oz was perfectly capable of doing all of the above himself and had for sometime already.
That aside, Gil grimaces at the tar stuck to his arms and, feeling a sense of unease settle in his stomach, Gil took a step out into the rain, limping thanks to his lack of a shoe. It was cold, and miserable and...
glop
He walks right into another tar pit and sinks straight down to his knee. At least that explains the shoe.

[one minute he was just strolling through lost and the next he suddenly found himself...sinking? it was so sudden, he didn't even have a chance to even attempt to escape.]
Well...this is new.
[he was now waist deep in...well he wasn't sure what it was. he just stared down at the dark shadow that had suddenly engulfed him, dipping a gloved finger into the material. it wasn't solid at all—in fact it was more misty.]
...Huh. Didn't expect that.
[a few twists and some attempts to move, but nope. brb, trying to see if he can fish out his Dreamberry.]
Haha, looks like I'm stuck! Guess I should call for he—[and plop. his Dreamberry slipped out of his hand and into the shadow pit.] ...Or not. Hm.
[looks around before there's a sheepish grin.]
Er, hello? Can anyone give me a hand?

| Who: Inspector Javert and Naomi Javert (Hunter) Where: Their condominium in the government district Style: ... To be determined Status: Closed closed closed.
What a week it had been.
Javert bent over the remote-controlled fireplace wearily, the crags in his face illuminated by the flicker and glow of the flames. His mind was full and heavy with his reflections and constant brow-beating. This week alone he received more reprimands from his superiors than he experienced in his entire life - and afterlife. He saw more foundation-quaking scares and felt the grip of death snake a bony arm around his wife's shoulders. He had thought, certainly, she would be a dead woman soon, and closed off his mind that day in the hospital, preparing himself for the inevitable.
But it did not come. In fact, from her lowest low, Naomi bounced back, regaining a healthful luminescence, an adequate appetite and a bounce in her step. The gloom in her posture was gone, and she no longer vomited blood along with her bile. It was a disarmingly quick 180, so swift that Javert now questioned whether her episode early in the month was as serious as it looked. Perhaps it was one of those cases that looked uglier, that presented as a worse business than it was in actuality.
Such was the nature of a cancer disease. Not even the sorcery of modern medicine could accurately predict its exact course. And he, Javert, felt horrifically close to agreeing with Franziska von Karma in having him dismissed from duty permanently, for all of recent negligence.
Tonight, however, a soft and comfortable silence settled indoors and out. There were hardly any vehicles on the road in the icy, sloshy snow, and the pristine new flakes blanketed and muted the city from any loud noises and raucous parties. Javert returned home, as he did every day this week, just past five pm to a coy wife complaining lightly of the cold. As infernal and ridiculous as he found the remote-controlled fireplace in their condominium, it had its uses in the dead of winter.
There was one irksome irritation, though. It felt artificial. It didn't give off nearly as much heat as a conventional stove.
Javert frowned down at the fireplace and, abruptly, amidst one of Naomi's playful complaints, he bent down and tore the front grating of the fireplace away, opening up the enclave to allow a warming flow of flickering heat.
"Damn these modern stoves!" he murmured in a cold, lightly-accented rumble. "Handsome to watch, impractical to use! This will work. For now. There is no explicit thing in the fire code that calls for a fire-cage like this."

| Who: Axel and EVERYONE! ...ok, anyone, really. •^• Where: Some distance away from houses in Espoir Style: Any; I'll match Status: Open~
It's late, very late at night, and Axel, for once, can't fall asleep. It's odd, considering that he hasn't been doing anything strenuous for a while and thus he should feel more energetic, but his body just doesn't want to stay put. It's cold, too, so why isn't he sleepy or drowsy?
...Axel knows the true reason, but of course he won't admit to it. He's been having nightmares, strange ones; ones involving destruction and Darkness and countless hordes upon hordes of Heartless creatures. So, sometime in the darkest part of the night, he wanders out of his apartment in Somni and heads for some empty area of land along the outskirts of of Espoir.
Here he takes a long moment to stare up at the sky, searching for any bit of light, before after a while he chooses to create his own, lighting his fingertips ablaze and shooting little wisps of fire into the air, sometimes even creating shapes like circles and squiggles before the fire dissipates into the cold air. One of the flames happens to catch a small shrub nearby, however, and though Axel sees it, he doesn't stop to put the fire out. It's slowly spreading, after all. What problem could there be?

| Who: Juliet and somariumWhere: Espoir Style: FIRST FOR SPEED >:C Status: OPEN YO [Juliet's been felt awfully restless ever since she arrived in Somarium. She was suddenly tossed into an area she wasn't familiar with. Neo Verona was out of her sight and she was handed a device she's never seen before in her life. Of course, she had no idea how to operate it so the dreamberry remained dormant within her own personal belongings. There were so many mysterious things about this place but luckily for her she still had the Capulet's sword on her.
She could at least defend herself if the need arose. Juliet may be running on the rooftops and you may bump into her by accident today. ]

| Who: Arche Klein Where: Closest field by the residential district Style: Any Status: Open
Arche let out a soft groan as she slowly regained consciousness. As she sat up, she found herself at the edge of a field of some sort that seems to have... walking scarecrows...? Wait. What? Arche rubbed her eyes wondering she had been hallucinating or perhaps seeing things due to her half asleep state. She must be, one doesn't just appear in a random field with live scarecrows (which shouldn't be possible by the way) somewhere with no recollection of how it happened!
She pinch herself. Hard, half-expecting for it to be painless like its rumored to be when in a dream.
"Ow!"
Sadly, the stinging pain on her arm says otherwise. Really, this hadn't been what she expected to happen when she went to bed last night. Rubbing her head in frustration, she couldn't help wonder, rather vocally.
"Arrrgh! Where am I?!
Well, at least she still has her broom with her.

| Who: Colette Brunel and Lloyd Irving Where: Here and there. Sight seeing/shopping. Style: Nivi can pick! Status: Closed
[ After the buzz of the holidays were finally starting to settle down, there was no better way to catch up then taking a walk with someone you really enjoy being with. That person, in fact, just so happened to be her best friend.
It was still chilly outside, so equipped with her scarf Colette stayed close to Lloyd's side. A hand reaching downward to take hold of his hand. This was nice- to have some relaxation time and truly be in good company with one another. Good company, which so happened to be assisting in shopping! ]
It's so nice outside, Lloyd! I'm glad we decided to go out now that's it is not too cold. [ The girl beams. Bright eyes turning her fully attention to the male beside her. ] Maybe we can pick something up to eat before we head back, hmm?
