If that doesn't strike fear into your heart, nothing will. Just kidding. He's a pretty decent guy, all things considered. Mirror-universes will throw you for a loop that way. This Galvatron is from Shattered Glass, Transformers' own bizarro universe, where Optimus Prime is a sadistic conqueror and Starscream's loyalty could put Dr. Watson to shame. Here, Galvatron is one of the sanest, most rational men you'll ever meet. On top of this, he's -- there's no other word for it -- heroic. But Reims Academy is a high school AU. How do you pull giant robots into a high school AU? Here, the war for Cybertron, a small country torn apart by civil war, is over. The evil Autobots have been defeated, and peace has settled once more. However, the Decepticon leader was not allowed to remain in Cybertron, due to technically illegal actions he had taken during the war. Exiled from his beloved home, Galvatron has returned to academia, teaching mathematics to young minds at Reims. Someone has to show them that math is nothing to be afraid of. |
