| [ There is probably little point in announcing her return so obviously. Those who know her will say something if they want to; those who know her reputation will avoid her or mock her. She doesn't expect a lot of reactions to this, but she does have a few things to say. ]
Things changed. A lot of my classes don't have their old teachers anymore. ... Did people get sick? You should be careful. We can't stay away sick people as well on an island like this. Not enough room. ....... It would be bothersome if I had to relearn who all my classmates are. [ So some of you had better still be here. ] ................... Is MS-3 still banned from the pool? It's winter but I still need to use it. I WILL file an appeal if I have to but it's a lot of trouble. [ Because that worked so well last time, right? ]
(ooc: If the color or font is really bothersome, tell me and I'll cut it out. Just assume everything else is text unless I specify otherwise!)
|
| Alright, i'm taking off work for once this new years. Probably. So what's going on? Where can I forget my cares and obliterate my brain for the night of the thirty first? | |
|
| [Text time! So you can't tell if she's amused or admonishing. Trollol, etc]
I hope everyone enjoyed the Winter Formal yesterday, and while I'm sure everyone's still recovering from the fun hangover, there's someone in the South Quad likely recovering from a far less fun hangover.
Thank you for leaving that puddle of vomit in front of the common room television, by the way <3~
|
| Should I go to the formal? Is it gonna be fun? Help me out here, i've never been to one before. | |
|
| [Oh hey it's that little kid again!
...her forehead, anyway. And her somewhat creepy red eyes, poking up out of the bottom of the screen because she's slouching over on her computer desk. SOMEONE IS DISPLEASED and sulking.]
There's a party, isn't there?
Why can't I go?
[...figures the kid who has panic attacks around large groups of people is suddenly totally okay with large groups of people once someone says she should stay away from them. At least right now, in her head. Actually putting this into practice would lead to a very different conclusion.
Meddling doctors, I tell you.]

| Hi, everyone! [ Someone looks excited. The girl is holding up a stack of several DVDs, which probably explains her mood. Among the stack is a copy of The Legend of the Shadowless Sword. ] We have so many breaks coming up soon, that there aren't many chances left to sit together before the calendar changes. My idea? Movie night! I have a collection of martial arts films and historical action films. Let's get together sometime and watch them together. It'll be like a marathon! [ Meiling puts a finger to her chin. ] How about... the 31st? It's the best way to ring in the New Year, right? —do you think there will be fireworks, again? It would be so pretty! Maybe we should watch the films outside somewhere...? | |
|
| Yo, Momiji! Want to go to the dance with me?
[Asking publically? YEP.]
I'm probably going to need to get a proper dress for this, though. Anyone want to go out for emergency shopping?

Reims Academy is proud to present the student body with this year's Winter Formal. We apologize for the delay, but there was some confusion with the venue this year. All has been worked out and all tickets purchased will be honored.

| [The video feed clicks on, flickering a bit. the image looks like the camera fell and is laying on it's side. There is a distant muttering before the camera moves and a teen is visible. His orange brown hair is a bit messy from what you can see. Finally the camera is righted and the teen moves to sit back, almost falling into his chair.]
Yo! So I sort of forgot about introducing myself and thought I'd do it now. Name's Yosuke Hanamura.
[He waves a bit as he leans forward on his elbows.]
So yeah, I moved out to France from Japan...not much else to really say about myself...pretty much if you want to know anything about me feel free to hit me up.
[He seems to reach down to his neck only to freeze, his eyes lighting up.]
Oh! By the way if anyone finds a pair of reddish orange Coby CV215 headphones please like text me or something! I can't find them and I think I lost them when I....well...when I was on my way to class the other day.
[Those who might have seen him, he tripped over air and fell head long into some bushes...cause he's clumsy like that.]
Anyways, later guys!
[And with that the video feed clicks off.]

| My name is Youmu Konpaku, a HS-1 student. I've been for a while a student here at Reims Academy, but had to return home for personal family matters. Perhaps I should say that I wasn't able to be a student for very long at all?
However it is, I wanted to re-introduce myself to any new students that arrived in the time of my absence.
Thank you for your time.[ Private message to Momiji Inubashiri ]( Read more...Collapse )
|
| Good day, Reims Academy. I hear it is common procedure to introduce onesself over the intranet. My name is Yuyuko Saigyouji and I am a new student here.
I thank you all and look forward to meeting you. [Somewhat a lie; she's terrified of the idea, but it's polite to say it]
They have me in the East Quad, and so I believe I will see those that take residence there, soon.
[And with that stilted and somewhat awkward message, off she goes. :|]
|
| Y'know... it kinda sucks that there's no Thanksgiving Day in France. Sure, I know the holiday's some bullshit about pilgrims and indians, but nobody ever tried to wake me up before noon--well, 'cept for the new munchkins--and I'd get a ton of turkey and go back to bed feeling fat.
[She shrugs and slumps back in her chair.]
And there they are getting half a week off from school and I still had classes this morning.
...but I'm also in fucking France and they're stuck in Iowa. Pretty damn sweet trade-off, if you ask me.
So, you other Americans out there, anyone up for getting turkey sandwiches?
|
| [ It's a month away, but Firo's still looking forward to Winter break and the trip home. If only he would devote as much thought to his school work.
He rests his chin in his hands and his elbows on the desk as he addresses the network. ]
Hey, so... Does anybody have any ideas for somethin' to do when you're stuck on an airplane? Like somethin' quiet that won't get me kicked off when I'm a million miles in the air.
Oh- And I gotta another question. What kinda card games do you guys know? With people from all over there's gotta be some variety here.

| [The video feed turns on to show Marisa laying on her bed, on her stomach, with her legs bent up behind her with a pair of crimson and slate striped stockings on. Her white blouse is unbuttoned to show the white tank top underneath and her tie is still about her neck, though loose. On her arms are a matching pair of handless gloves/sleeve that hook over her thumb, also of matching crimson and slate stripes.]
I'm sure you all know next weekend is one of the LaSalle Weekends. Normally, I'm all for spending every moment possible off-island, but I've got something better to offer for those of you that are saving up for the Winter Formal or just want something different.
[She holds up a jewel case to the camera. Anyone with an interest in video games knows its one of the new upcoming big releases. But wait... it's not supposed to be available commercially for another week. Why does Marisa have her hands on it?]
I happen to have gotten my hands on a full release copy of Draconian Realms. It has an online multiplayer quest option that I can get anyone who wants to play on this weekend without the various problems the servers will have with a high volume after the game's internationally available. Let me know if you're interested and I'll make sure to get the game installed on your computer along with the right login information.
[grin] All out of the goodness of my heart. What can I say? I'm feeling generous or something, ze.
|
| Okay, so... Question. {{when does Kuri use this network for something other than questions? The answer is never. She tips her baseball cap of the day to the side, tugging on a strand of her hair before asking-}} What exactly constitutes as a 'costume', per se? Cause I'm sure as hell not showing up to this party as some sort of witch'r zombie or something. But I want ta see this musical act or whatever. Does, like, a hat count? Cause I can do a hat. That'd be easy.
Yeah, so... just wondering. Have a great fall break and all that shit.

| [[I hope you like PINK]]
Hiiii everyone~!
So... I really hope this doesn't sound strange, but... I came from a small town and we really didn't celebrate Halloween. I've heard about it but... Well, we never did anything. And I didn't get to ever celebrate it! Or... have a party?
Well... What AM I supposed to do for Halloween. Mineral Town didn't celebrate it.
|
| Hey Reims Academy! How are you doing?
Just wanted to let you guys know that the Student Counsel will be holding a Halloween party on the 29th. It's a costume party, of course, so make sure to come dressed up as something! People who aren't in costumes won't be admitted, just saying!
We're going to have a canned food drive too. Since we practically live on campus it's alright if you can't bring a can, but if you can, bring down a one or two or even a few! It'll be tons of fun. We'll also have a raffle, some games, and some other stuff too. We still need a musical act though so if anyone knows of someone that can come play, ask them! If not I'll get my parents to splurge and bring a big name band over here.
Anyway, I'll see you guys there! You have to come, I'm making you.
|
| [When the feed turns on Oshitari gives it a half-embarrassed wave, smiling sheepishly.]
Well, Reims, I seem to have a bit of a dilemma on my hands.
He shifts his laptop to point the webcam at the rest of his desk, where an open box containing quite a large sheet cake sits. Red frosting over the top reads 「お誕生日おめでとう侑士!」 ("Happy birthday, Yuushi!"). He sighs resignedly and tilts the camera back towards himself.]
My older sister was very kind to send me such a nice gift, but I'm simply incapable of eating a whole cake by myself. If anyone could be so kind as to help out, please feel free to drop by room 304 in the East Quad. I've got extra plates and forks already, so there's no need to bring your own.
|
| [on screen now is a very excited-looking young girl; though it's well into the night, Haruhi is as energetic as ever as she makes her point for the day.]
Good evening, fellow students! —And faculty, I guess. I trust at least some of you have heard some of the rumors going around lately, right? And not the gossip-type rumors; I could honestly care less about those. I'm talking about the real juicy ones—the ones about the dragon and the ghost hanging out in the Quad! Those are miles more interesting, don't you think?
My point is—would anyone else be interested in having a stakeout at the East Quad sometime next week? You know, just to see if there actually is anything weird going on around here! I'm already expecting my friends at the Literary club to come with me, but the extra company wouldn't hurt. Especially if the dragon thing is true. [Haruhi what are you doing, you can't just decide for your friends like that.] Naturally it'll be at night, since that'd increase chances of seeing either of the rumors; I'm thinking maybe Friday? Hope to hear from some of you soon!
|
| Hello, students. I hope you're all settling into this semester well?
This is just a brief reminder not to let the rumor mill influence you unduly. Rumors happen; the best thing you can do if you are the target of one is to ignore it. A rumor that isn't fed doesn't spread!
[She chuckles to herself before the video clicks off.]
