As for the fox, he’s Max, a 15-year-old who spends most of his time online on forums and chatrooms and such. He has an avid interest in the furry fandom, and likes to see himself as a furry – a fox (hence his representation in the comics). He never really “came out”; it just sorta … developed. Think of it as a little like gradual blindness (bad example, I know, but you get the idea): it develops over time, there’s no one point where you officially declare, ‘Okay, I’m blind now!’.
