Nicholas x Shine: Christmas
So in keeping up with the month, it's time for showing what happens at Christmas in this story:

Christmas Party
The day for the party fell on the 16th which was a Saturday and where many people could make it before they had to go elsewhere for the holidays. Like before Nicholas was on his way to Shine's place with her gift ready in his pocket. He had told the vixen before hand that if a person wanted to they could give a gift to someone at it. The fosky had a feeling she'd like his gift to her. He looked up as he pulled in near the entrance of the place in his car. The male got out and found her waiting by the door. This time the vixen was wearing a Santa hat along with a long trench coat that was warm since tonight would be cold. Snow had fallen earlier that day but there wasn't any now. The male also noticed that under the long trench coat he could see something Christmas red and Nicholas wondered if it was a dress.
The male got out and Shine opened the door for him. She saw that he was wearing longer layers that were right for this holiday and smiled up at him. "Hey there," Nicholas said causing a slight bush on her face to pop out. The female was able to smile back. 'Ready to go?"
"I'm all yours," the vixen purred, taking his arm. The move surprised Nicholas, wondering if Shine was being more playful than usual.
They got into his car and it wasn't much longer until they had pulled up to the place. The fosky got out first and opened the door for Shine. She giggled and took his arm again. They were soon inside and directed to the living room. Soft Christmas music was playing with the whole place being decorated. There were food and drink out for the guests. "Shall I take your coat?" one of the people who was hoisting this asked the vixen.
"Oh I'll be fine," she replied. "Although were can I hang it up?" Hanging around Nicholas so much had made Shine able to speak English more and more clearly even if an accent was still there.
The two were directed to the place where the coats could be hung up. Shine looked to the fosky with a grin and held up a finger and slowly took the trench coat off to reveal underneath was a long red Santa suit with the fluffy white at the top and bottom. But it was strapless and the fosky's eyes went wide with shock as he actually blushed. The vixen noticed this. "Well?" she asked with a grin and did a fully body spin. "How do I look for this?"
Nicholas had to clear his throat in order to speak. "You… you look really good right now. Beautiful even." That second part was said fast and both froze a bit as they couldn't believe what had come out of his mouth.
"Does he really think I'm beautiful?" the vixen thought in her head, a bit red now but still smiling. "Do I really have a shot with him after all?" She decided to see where this party went first before trying to make this go a little more.
The two stay by the other's side while mingling with the rest of the guests. This time there wasn't a karaoke singing thing but that was fine with both of them. The food was great and the fosky and vixen spent a good time laughing and talking with the rest and each other. However it was during the gift giving that the best part would happen. Well, to be more accurate the second best. "So then… shall the lady go first?" Nicholas asked to Shine when told she had something for him as well.
"Sure, why not?" the vixen replied and brought out a small box of very good chocolates for him.
"Hey! How'd you know I liked these?"
"Because silly, who wouldn't?" the female answered with a grin.
After he put it away, the male reached into his pocket and brought out a small dark blue box. "I… I found this and I knew it was for you," he managed to state. It was wrapped in green strings. Shine wasn't expecting jewelry from him and took it with slightly trembling fingers. Somehow the vixen managed to get the strings off and open the box. The female couldn't help but gasp as she saw a necklace with an easy clasp to fasten. Attached to it was a sparkling blue gem, meant to bring out the color of her eyes in a star like shape.
The vixen looked up at Nicholas. "Well, what do you think?" he asked. The next thing everyone knew was that the female tackled the male with a big hug.
"Oh my god, I love it!" she cried. "You have no idea how much this means to me!"
"I'm glad," the fosky answered and hugged her back. The vixen didn't put it on, but held onto it tightly. The reason was that Shine didn't want to loose it.
Soon the party came to an end and it found the two back at her place. "Want me to put it on you now?" the male asked.
"Not yet," she replied with a grin. "But maybe latter during New Years Eve. I assume you'll want to take me to something then since December 25th you'll be busy like me.
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I'll see you soon." He began to walk away.
"Wait a minute," Shine said, causing him to stop. The vixen leaned up and kissed him on the check. It caused both to blush hard. "That's for inviting me and the gift."
"Of course," Nicholas replied softly. "Goodnight Shine."
"Goodnight Nicholas." The female watched him drive off before heading back into her place with a big smile. The vixen placed the box on her bedside table before changing into sleepwear. In her heart and mind, all that was there was about Nicholas and how perfect he was. The female knew why this was and how much her feelings for the fosky had increased since October and that party.
"I love him…" Shine whispered. "I'm in love with him…" Somehow saying it out loud helped and allowed the vixen to sleep that night with thoughts about him in her dreams.
