Nicholas x Shine: In Snow
So now the story continues and while it may be short, the next one will be longer.

In the Snow
November arrived quickly, bringing cold weather but no snow yet. Shine thought the latter was beautiful and enjoyed it as much as the next person. Still this was small compared to what had happened at that party and with Nicholas. The times she held onto him, their paws and tails touching, along with how he had traced her right ear and down the cheek, left the vixen in a daze. What had been said about her being so cute with Nicholas and the rest stood out in the female's mind. Right now it found her at her apartment just picking at the remans of breakfast near the end of the month. The vixen let out a happy sigh at thoughts of him.
Shine thought at that party he was quite cozy and friendly with her. Of course he hadn't kissed her on the cheek since that time at the beach. Then again the hug and other things hadn't happened yet. "Maybe… maybe there's a chance with him…" the vixen whispered. She had never felt this way to anyone before but this was much different with the fosky.
The female proceed to get dressed in a pink woolen hat and magenta colored coat. Those things would help keep her warm since it was below the point of water freezing outside. The reason Shine was heading out was for a few errands but also to get some exercise. After making herself look good, the vixen stepped out into the cold air. She could see it was grey and overcast as well that her breath was making steam. The vixen was on her way. Some time latter found the vixen walking by the park where she had first met Nicholas. She noticed there wasn't anyone there today but still thought about the time spent with the fosky was going through Shine's mind.
The female then checked her phone to see if Nicholas had left her any messages. The fosky hadn't done so yet sometimes the two would do so to flirt or share news. Suddenly one popped up from saying he was out as well. Shine couldn't help but text back and say where she was. The male texted her back saying not to move and that he was on his way. It wasn't even five minutes until the vixen saw him. "Hey! Over here!" he called.
Shine was by his side in a flash. The female noticed he was wearing a green coat this time but otherwise had the same grin, glasses, and long hair. "And so I run into you again Shine," he said with a smirk.
"Yes…" the vixen replied with a blush. Due to certain things, the two hadn't been able to see each other throughout the month until now. Shine could feel the heart beat increase and butterflies form in her stomach. It was stronger than before.
"So what brings you out today?" he asked with a smile.
"Just some errands…" the vixen mumbled with a smile. She then looked up at his face and spoke a bit louder. "I've finished with them."
"Same here. So… shall we walk back to your place or around?" The vixen noticed he was blushing slightly as well.
"I wouldn't mind," Shine replied with a dazzling smile.
The two went on their way and passed by Christmas decorations that were up. Nicholas did state he hated that they always came too early and this was when they should come out or up. The vixen just giggled at this but agreed that maybe that they did come a little too early. But then it went onto a little bit more with memories in the snow. While Nicholas didn't reveal too much on that, he did talk about what he remembered during the first times he could remember snow and winter. However the vulpine didn't say where it was. Shine let it slid as he seemed more interested in hearing things from her past.
Suddenly the male looked up. "Hey, it's beginning to snow," the fosky stated. Shine looked up and saw the white feathery flakes begin to fall. "I'm glad we got to see this before December."
"Well… I like it to," the vixen said.
"Well I hope it stays that way for awhile this winter," Nicholas. "You know what makes it special during December? When it snows and it comes so close to the 25th."
Shine just smiled as she knew what the guy was talking about it being a white Christmas. The two continued their walk but soon it was time for them to head back to their own homes. The fosky walked with the vixen to the entrance of her place but didn't leave just yet. "So… I guess I'll see you around," Shine whispered.
"Yeah," he answered. "Say listen Shine… during December are you doing anything the 16th?"
"Well no. Why?"
"That same place we went to that Halloween party is having a Christmas one. Would you like to come to that with me?"
The vixen just smiled and hugged the male. "I would love to…" she whispered. She felt him wrap his arms around her.
"Then it seems we've got another date." The two pulled back with smiles. "I'll come pick you up like last time okay? I'll let you know all the details when I get home."
The female just nodded and went into her place. "I'm going to spend time with him again," she whispered and blushed while covering her face with her paws. Shine had no idea what would happen at this but knew it was going to be fun no matter what.
