Jewel Vixens and Alpha Canines Story 2: Part 1
Now on to the next story of taking down the next series of enemies. Note that since Jewel Vixens takes place in a world like ours all events, movies, etc. are the same. So the president that appears in Egypt is the same. However, unlike from our world the civil war that happens in this story took place some years before 1973. If there was one going on, there'd be no way the Canines and Vixens could do this mission. Otherwise they be walking into danger. Otherwise, enjoy. This does have new music so be sure to check it out. This is also where a running gag is going to start appearing.

A few days latter after the fight against Jade found both her and Nicholas fully recovered from it. Now it found everyone except Alexander and Victoria training in the room to keep their skills up. The little ones just watched. Seeing their mom and dad practicing their snipping skills. While in the meantime Sapphire and Kane were sparring against each other. Nicholas also had Topaz to the side practicing with her. Even thought the blond hair vixen disliked violence she had to learn how to defend herself just in case.
“Well you’re just as tough as usual!” commented the white wolf as his punch got stopped by the Arctic fox.
“Same with you!” she responded back with a grin.
“Keep your feet moving!” stated Nicholas as he moved around Topaz. Her eyes never left his. The vulpine aimed a punch at her. The vixen used his momentum and her body to get him on the ground. The male rolled and was back on his feet with a grin. “That’s the way!”
Jade and Paul were also exchanging blows while the rest were testing their speed on the corse. But while taking breathers, they also looked at the others fighting. Especially their leaders. The Corsac fox looked to the vixen he was working with and it seemed she was doing great.
“Nice to see you’re back to normal,” he commented.
“Yeah, same with me,” she responded with a grin and dogged a kick from the vulpine.
The whole group kept it up and then after a bit, everyone ended up taking a break.”Good work!” stated Sapphire. “That should do it."
“Not yet,” said Nicholas. “Just one more thing remains. Now I want to test myself against you and Topaz at once.”
“Wait, really?” asked the other said vixen.
“Sure. I figure I can handle it.”
“I’ve got enough energy left to do so,” responded the Arctic fox. “Besides, I don’t think we’ve even sparred yet.”
“Then let’s go,” stated the vulpine.

“Okay, let’s do this!” stated Nicholas. “Physical combat’s the game now! Get ready!”
Both vixens went in and it became obvious that their opponent could handle the two just fine. Sapphire and him both had grins on their faces as she blocked a kick from him. The other female tried to trip the male up, but he easily stopped her. All three came apart with the male attacking the Arctic fox for a bit before jumping back. They regarded each other for a moment.
“You live up to your reputation easily!” he said. “You’re not going to be easy to best! But I accept the challenge!”
The three kept it up for even longer. Just when it looked like the vixens had the vulpine he would recover. And the same with him when it looked like he would get the two. Everyone else was watching by now. They could see that Sapphire and Nicholas were enjoying this. But Topaz only had eyes on him to pay attention.
“Now I can see why he’s this good,” commented Jade. “I wonder where else he learned how to fight?”
“That’s another story for another time,” said Paul. “You’ll learn in the future.”
“Well if someone taught him I’d like to learn from that person.”
“Now get ready!” stated Nicholas. “Here comes the big finale!” He was just about to charge in when Mendoza walked into the room.
“I hate to break this up, but Diamond is contacting you,” stated the vulpine with glasses. Everyone looked up to him.
“No helping it I guess,” replied the fox with long brown hair. “Well, let’s not keep her waiting.”
With that everyone left the combat room and were soon gathered in the briefing room in their usual spots. Diamond was already on the screen, waiting for them.

“Hello Vixens and Canines,” she stated. “Listen closely to what I’m about to say to you. After what Mugshot and Mean Green said to you about the next lieutenants. F.U.T.U.R.E. went on to find out more about Mz Ruby and Citronella Jones. Sadly we haven’t been able to find out just who it is. However, we’ve gotten word that there is something going on in Egypt. It seems that one of our allies, the president of the country, is having some problems named Anwar Sadat. We don’t know if it’s related to V.I.L.E. or S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E.; however, it’s worth checking out.”
“So you want us to go there and find out what it is,” stated Sapphire.
“It seems a good course,” commented Emerald to some of the specie’s surprise. “If those Lieutenants are there like Mugshot and Mean Green said, then maybe we’ll find them or get a clue as to where they are.”
“Indeed,” answered Diamond. “When you do get there to Cairo, make your way to Anwar. He’s a good person and if something would happen to him, the country may go to another civil war. That male has managed to put an end to the last one some years ago after World War II and many other good things to help his country. Here’s what he looks like.” A picture of a jackal colored black came up. He was in a business suit and had golden colored eyes. “Now quickly, go. And god’s speed with you.” The screen she was one turned off.
“Well you heard her,” stated Nicholas and got up from his seat. “Looks like we’re heading for Egypt.”

Everyone got ready, but also made sure to pack some lighter cloths. But they also packed their regular spy outfits and weapons. Luckily they were able to get these things through customs. Soon everyone was on board a plane that would take them to New York. From there it was onto toward Sudan. The reason was that some of the airports were temporarily closed due to problems. The group would have to take a train to get to their destination of Cairo.
All the vixens sat next to the guy they usually worked with. Topaz and Nicholas were a good example of this. At certain points, the vixen would lay her head on his shoulder and sleep. Smiling, the male would wrap his arm around the female to keep her warm and close. The others thought it was very cute. Maybe after this mission they would at last hook up.
Soon the group had made it to Sudan and were now ridding the train. For many this was their first time to Africa. Although there wasn’t much to see; just desert. They had been right to wear light clothing; it was hot after all. The journey on it had started at Khartoum, the capital, and this ride would take them up to the Al Qasr. From there it was another train ride to Cairo. At least the group had each other. But right now they weren’t talking. Nicholas was starring out the window with Topaz next to him. Alexander and Victoria were across the seat from them with their parents across the row. However none of them realized a car down were two shady characters in cloaks. Suddenly they took them off to reveal they were cheetahs that had guns and were bandits. One had a blue bandana and a couple of necklaces that were treasures he had stolen. The other one had a red one with another necklace.

“Aaagh, aren’t we there yet?” asked Alexander. “Watching all this sand go by makes me wanna strangle something…”
Victoria giggled. “You’ve been bored ever since we reached this place. Me, I think it’s nice to take a break before starting our work even if we can’t join the others. Don’t you?”
“A BREAK?! I’m gonna break something if this boring train ride doesn’t end soon!”
“Here we go again…” thought Victoria. Granite and Onyx turned to the young kit while Topaz watched with a smile.
“I can’t believe you son,” stated the vulpine father. “Have you not patience, Alexander? It shouldn’t be too much longer now. I can show you by map if you want.”
“He’s like you when you were young,” said his wife.
“So in any case, who here has never been to Egypt?” asked Aquamarine to keep the little one distracted. Many raised their paws. “Well I think it’s great we’re heading there. Especially without a civil war going on.”
“I remember reading about that in the news,” sated Desmond. “But what I really want to do while there is maybe check out some of the pyramids. We should make the time to go to them or a ruin at one point.”
“I just hope they have normal food,” stated Ruby. She remember all too well the octopus she had been offered by Amethyst while in Japan.
“Well in any case maybe we-“ began Sapphire but she was interrupted as an explosion happened, rocking the train (Music stops). It threw Nicholas off of his seat and he let out a funny cry of surprise. Everyone turned to look at where it came from; the cars behind theirs.
“What was that?” asked Jade. “An explosion?” Nicholas raised himself up, with his tongue out and in pain since he had bitten it. Suddenly an announcement came on.
“We are the People’s Eastern Revolution Front. We have assumed control of this train. I repeat..”
“People’s Eastern Revolution Front?” asked Kane. “Sounds like a bunch of names cut and pasted together.”
“I certainly haven’t heard of them mates,” commented Paul. Nicholas let out a sigh.
“You know what I bet it is?” he asked. “I’ll bet it’s another interest group. God, what is this whole world coming to?” The vulpine assumed his original position.
“Aren’t you going to do something laddie?” asked Granite.
“Yeah, why do I have to?” asked the long haired vulpine. The older one didn’t answer but just gave him a long look. It caused Nicholas to sweet temporally before standing up quickly. “I mean sure you and Onyx can take those guys all by yourself, right Granite?”
The said fox chuckled and stood up. “Indeed!’ he commented. “With our skills those people won’t even know what hit them!” Onyx was looking at him with a questioning look on her face. “Come here crooks! You shall regret you decision in due time I assure you!” Suddenly the two cheetahs from before came in with machine guns ready.
“Alright you!” stated the one with the blue bandana before looking at the group. “What tha… who are you freaks?! You heard the announcement didn’t ya? This train’s now under control of the Eastern Liberation Federation!”
“Looks like they’ve changed their name since the announcement,” stated Topaz. Nicholas let out another sigh.
“Well I just can’t take this anymore. Hey wait, weren’t we just in a situation like this Topaz?” By that he meant what happened in Utah.
“Yeah, we were,” she stated.
“God, somebody must’ve put a curse on us.”
“Hey, the blonde vixen and the weakling!” commented the the other cheetah. Nicholas heard that and a pissed off mark seemed to pop out on his head and the vulpine clenched his teeth together. “Who gave you permission to chat?! Just shut up and fork over the valuables!”
“This is perfect!” said the first one. “Okay, you! Take the goods from the group that’s sitting right over there, then get your ass over here weakling!”
Nicholas by this point had his eyes black with rage. “Who are you calling a weakling?!” he snarled and mechanically turned to the two bandits.
“Heh! You of course!” answered the first cheetah. “Who the fuck else is there?! You weakling!” The words seemed to echo through out the car. The vulpine snapped and lunged forward.
“YOU WANNA CONTACT THE GENUIS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS AND ENTER MY NAME IN IT?!” The male kicked the first bandit and sent him flying to the end of the car and knocked him out.
“Wow impressive Nicholas,” stated Mendoza.
"Wait… you are..” said the second cheetah and backed off before pulling something from his left pocket. James ran forward and dealt with him.
“Hmph!” commented the German Shepard. “That was pitiful!”
“Just who are these people anyway?” asked Jade, coming to where Nicholas was.
“I’m telling ya, it’s a curse,” he commented.
“Or maybe they want your autograph?”
“What?! Who?!”
Hey, what’s going on in here?” asked a voice. This time it was a male lion who came into the car but stopped when he saw the smaller vixen. A quick pressure point strike sent him down.
“Maybe he’s a fan of yours,” stated Jade.
“Very funny…” said Nicholas. He then turned to Sapphire. “Okay then. You take some of the group and find out what the explosion was about.”
“Don’t worry about,” she commented. “We’re already on it.” Emerald went to the thing from the second cheetah and it was a piece of cloth that had the words V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. on it.
“Looks like we’ve got V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. agents among us,” stated the vixen. “So everyone just watch your backs okay?”
“I know it too well!” answered Bill.
“Well then,” said Topaz as she approached Nicholas. They were joined by Jade, Paul, Emerald, and James. The others nodded and began to make their way towards the explosion. Of course after getting their weapons since their luggage was with them. It was the same for the group that was going on ahead. It was to be noted that James had a special gun that fired explosives from it for this mission. It could fire them for quite the distance.

“Okay we should split up,” stated Nicholas. “Topaz and I will take the rooftop while you four go from below.”
“Sounds good mate,” answered Paul.
“Don’t go dying on us,” commented Jade. Those two plus Emerald and James went through the door. The remaining foxes found a ladder that took them up to the roof. Once there, the two had to get their center of balance a bit. But both managed. There was plenty of room for them. Both the vulpine and vixen looked and could see three more bandits were in front of their path.
“Alright!” stated Nichols. “Time for these train-hoppers to deboard!”
“Um… will they be alright if we do?” asked Topaz.
“There’s sand on both sides of the track, they won’t get hurt too badly.” The vixen took reassurance in that. Both went forward and noticed that they had to jump to the next car. Luckily the path of the train was straight and the jump wasn’t big at all. But both foxes were still careful so as to not land and then accidentally get knocked off of the vehicle.
The enemy engaged the two. Nicholas was deadly and quick as usual. The baddies quickly learned that the vixen was better than she looked. The female used what she had learned to disarmed them and get them on the ground in the least amount of effort and violence as possible. Topaz kept remembering these guys would kill her if they got the chance. The female wasn’t going to give that to them.
As soon as these guys were defeated the two spies saw a few more baddies emerge from an opening in a roof another car ahead of the one the foxes were on. Topaz and Nicholas quickly dealt with them and went down the hole by the ladder that was underneath it. They were now in a freight car. They had hardly gone forward when more enemies emerged. But these were dressed up in a military style. The coats they wore were purple in color. Quickly getting rid of them, both foxes went forward. Another car was taken care of. The male and female were about to head forward when they heard the sound of running. Looking back they saw Jade, Paul, Emerald, and James who had caught up to them.
“Hey guys,” said the long haired vulpine. “Any of them left back there?”
“Thanks to you, I think they’re all KO’d,” stated Emerald with a grin.
“With like a little help from me,” commented Topaz.
“She did really well. She’s come a long way.” The comment made her blush.
“Well I so couldn’t let them kill me.”
“Let’s go get the rest of ‘em!” said Paul.
The group went ahead to another coach car. More baddies had to be dealt with. But were no match for the spies. A few more latter found the six at another ladder. “I guess you two will go back on the roof,” stated Jade. “I’m not complaining or anything.”
“Yeah, I think it would be best,” Nicholas replied.
“Go on ahead!” stated Topaz. “We’ve like got this!” She was now even more confident in her abilities to fight, but not be too violent and not cause death.
Both of them quickly were on the roof and saw more baddies in their way. “God!” Nicholas sighed. “Still more of them.. Were we the only non-hikackers aboard or something?” This time the vixen with him used her gun to knock some of the enemy out. At least they could see the engine ahead. As well as the first class cars. The vixens and canines hadn’t gotten a ticket for one of these to avoid suspicion as to who they were. It took a bit more of fighting but they fought their way through. After going down a hole in the roof, the two were in the first class car. Just as both were about to enter, they heard their names being called.
“Nicholas! Topaz!” It was Emerald. Looking behind them, they could see the rest of their group had caught up again.
“Oh, hey guys,” commented the vulpine with glasses. “ Are all the bad guys history yet?”
“Just the ones in the cars we cleared out, I guess,” said Jade. “At least I’ve gotten some action in.”
“The others are taking care of the cars in the back, so all we have left is the one in front and the engine,” stated James. “If the hijackers have a leader, then he’s gotta be up in front.”
“Agreed mate,” commented Paul. “But let’s be careful.”
“About their leader… Did you notice how some of the enemy were in military garb?” asked Emerald.
“Yeah, I have,” Nicholas answered. “But then again, criminals in the military are hardly a rarity.”
“Like really?” asked Topaz. “Isn’t that a bad thing for this?”
“We’ll worry about it latter. Let’s just beat up the leader and put him through the wringer. Let’s go.”
The group went through the door and found themselves in the lounge car. It was a nice place to relax and even had a bar. But there were enemies in here. One of them was a meerkat in a black military uniform. He even had a sword in his right paw.
“What the…” he said. “Wh-who the hell are you guys?!”
“Ooh, that’s menacing!” Emerald taunted. “Are you sure you’re supposed to be a bad guy?”
“Never mind that Emerald!” stated James. “His uniform…”
“Yeah it looks like he’s a military guy. Maybe even an MP,” said Nicholas.
“But then like why is this guy…?” asked Topaz.
“Hey, hey, hey!” stated the meerkat. “Stop talking about me like I’m not here! You brats… Don’t think you can get outta here alive…”
“Dealing with these goons is becoming a real hassle,” said Nicholas.

“…And it’s time to make things hassle-free! We aren’t dealing with amateurs anymore… so watch out, guys!”
“And like don’t forget to hold back Nicholas!” Topaz stated.
While she, along with Emerald, Paul, and James took care of the small fry, Jade and the other vulpine focused on the ones that had swords including the meerkat. It didn’t take much from those guys to deal with the other enemies that had guns. Even though the baddies did try hard. At certain points when it seemed like Topaz would get hurt, the quick vixen was able to get out of the situation. The others quickly fell to the other fighters.
Meanwhile those who were going against Jade couldn’t even touch her. She quickly had one after the other disarmed and down on the ground. Sighing a bit after the males still got back up, knowing it was a waste of time. It didn’t take much to put them down for go.
Finally Nicholas and the meerkat had their swords against the other. But it was clear that the vulpine was the better swordsman. There were a few times his opponent actually surprised him with an unexpected move. But nothing the fox couldn’t handle. He began to strike back, faster and faster. In about five minutes Nicholas had broken through the meerkat’s defense and got him on his knees. All the other baddies had been taken care of.

The group of six walked up to the meerkat. “Aaaargh… D-damn you…” panted the enemy. “How could I loose to you… has the world gone utterly mad?!”
“Yes it has,” growled Nicholas. “Now you’d better start explaining why a military person like you is hijacking this train to Cairo.”
“You’re like not here just to rob everyone, are you?” asked Topaz.
“Grr… who ARE you guys?” asked the meerkat.
“WE’RE the ones asking the questions here, bub!” snapped Emerald and took a step forward.

“NO! NOOO! Don’t hurt me! I’ll tell you everything… I-I was just running away…”
“Running away?” asked Nicholas. “From who?”
“From… other military police males,” stated the meerkat. “I was framed for a crime, so I had no choice but to flee and join up with V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E.”
“If it was a false charge, why didn’t you just protest?” asked Jade. “You shouldn’t have had to run and join them.”
“If the world were that simple, I wouldn’t be in so much trouble! It’s a conspiracy! We wouldn’t all have joined them if there wasn’t a warrant out for all of us!”
“What do you mean by all of us?” asked Nicholas.
“That’s right!” stated the meerkat. “Except for the few that we picked up on the way, we’re all ex-military people who worked for Anwar Sadat at one point.”
“So you’re trying to tell me that you’re ALL wanted for a crime that you collectively didn’t commit?” the long haired vulpine asked.
“Yes! Well… some of them may really be criminals… but not me! I’m innocent. I swear!”
“…And this is coming from the guys that hijacked our train…?” asked Emerald.
“Yeah, congrats,” growled Nicholas. “You’re really a criminal now. Good job!”
“I didn’t mean to cause such a scene!” the meerkat stated. “I wanted it to be more covert… All we wanted to do was get to Cairo. I’m not lying!”
“Really? What for mate?” asked Paul.
“The only one who was on our side was a tiger named Genz Bresslau. And he was the one who told us… to take shelter with V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. and they would get us to Cairo to Anwar Sadat if we did a few things first. Such as borrowing this train to get there since we’re wanted. I was going to wait in Cairo until the dust settled, and then prove my innocence!”
“Huh… All right,” Nicholas commented. “I’m beginning to see now.”
“But a place for people like this?” asked James. “I’ve never heard of such a thing…”
“But the one giving refuge is supposedly two people who are in charge of this… Mz Ruby and Citronella Jones.”

The shock went through the group as fireworks that go off. “WHAT?!” they all asked.
“We heard they’re calling on ex-military people from all over Egypt,” concluded the meerkat. “That’s all I know.”
“Guys… what does this mean?” asked Topaz to them. They all looked at each other.
“I don’t have a clue…” stated Nicholas. “I wonder if it’s the same Mz Ruby and Citronella Jones we’re trying to find.”
“But calling on them?” asked Jade. “Why would that be needed…?”
The meerkat made no response but got up and ran for the door and exited the car. “Hey! Wait!” stated Emerald. “He’s getting away!”
“What?!” Nicholas shouted. “HEY! Get your ass back here!”
“Come on Jade!” commented Paul. “We need to get back to the others and tell them this! We’re faster than Emerald and James!”
“I agree,” she said. “The four of you go after him.”
“Alright, see you soon!” James answered. The group split up with Nicholas, the German Shepard, Emerald, and Topaz heading after the meerkat. The other two went back to find Sapphire and the others.

“It seems a good course,” commented Emerald to some of the specie’s surprise. “If those Lieutenants are there like Mugshot and Mean Green said, then maybe we’ll find them or get a clue as to where they are.”
“Indeed,” answered Diamond. “When you do get there to Cairo, make your way to Anwar. He’s a good person and if something would happen to him, the country may go to another civil war. That male has managed to put an end to the last one some years ago after World War II and many other good things to help his country. Here’s what he looks like.” A picture of a jackal colored black came up. He was in a business suit and had golden colored eyes. “Now quickly, go. And god’s speed with you.” The screen she was one turned off.
“Well you heard her,” stated Nicholas and got up from his seat. “Looks like we’re heading for Egypt.”

Everyone got ready, but also made sure to pack some lighter cloths. But they also packed their regular spy outfits and weapons. Luckily they were able to get these things through customs. Soon everyone was on board a plane that would take them to New York. From there it was onto toward Sudan. The reason was that some of the airports were temporarily closed due to problems. The group would have to take a train to get to their destination of Cairo.
All the vixens sat next to the guy they usually worked with. Topaz and Nicholas were a good example of this. At certain points, the vixen would lay her head on his shoulder and sleep. Smiling, the male would wrap his arm around the female to keep her warm and close. The others thought it was very cute. Maybe after this mission they would at last hook up.
Soon the group had made it to Sudan and were now ridding the train. For many this was their first time to Africa. Although there wasn’t much to see; just desert. They had been right to wear light clothing; it was hot after all. The journey on it had started at Khartoum, the capital, and this ride would take them up to the Al Qasr. From there it was another train ride to Cairo. At least the group had each other. But right now they weren’t talking. Nicholas was starring out the window with Topaz next to him. Alexander and Victoria were across the seat from them with their parents across the row. However none of them realized a car down were two shady characters in cloaks. Suddenly they took them off to reveal they were cheetahs that had guns and were bandits. One had a blue bandana and a couple of necklaces that were treasures he had stolen. The other one had a red one with another necklace.

“Aaagh, aren’t we there yet?” asked Alexander. “Watching all this sand go by makes me wanna strangle something…”
Victoria giggled. “You’ve been bored ever since we reached this place. Me, I think it’s nice to take a break before starting our work even if we can’t join the others. Don’t you?”
“A BREAK?! I’m gonna break something if this boring train ride doesn’t end soon!”
“Here we go again…” thought Victoria. Granite and Onyx turned to the young kit while Topaz watched with a smile.
“I can’t believe you son,” stated the vulpine father. “Have you not patience, Alexander? It shouldn’t be too much longer now. I can show you by map if you want.”
“He’s like you when you were young,” said his wife.
“So in any case, who here has never been to Egypt?” asked Aquamarine to keep the little one distracted. Many raised their paws. “Well I think it’s great we’re heading there. Especially without a civil war going on.”
“I remember reading about that in the news,” sated Desmond. “But what I really want to do while there is maybe check out some of the pyramids. We should make the time to go to them or a ruin at one point.”
“I just hope they have normal food,” stated Ruby. She remember all too well the octopus she had been offered by Amethyst while in Japan.
“Well in any case maybe we-“ began Sapphire but she was interrupted as an explosion happened, rocking the train (Music stops). It threw Nicholas off of his seat and he let out a funny cry of surprise. Everyone turned to look at where it came from; the cars behind theirs.
“What was that?” asked Jade. “An explosion?” Nicholas raised himself up, with his tongue out and in pain since he had bitten it. Suddenly an announcement came on.
“We are the People’s Eastern Revolution Front. We have assumed control of this train. I repeat..”
“People’s Eastern Revolution Front?” asked Kane. “Sounds like a bunch of names cut and pasted together.”
“I certainly haven’t heard of them mates,” commented Paul. Nicholas let out a sigh.
“You know what I bet it is?” he asked. “I’ll bet it’s another interest group. God, what is this whole world coming to?” The vulpine assumed his original position.
“Aren’t you going to do something laddie?” asked Granite.
“Yeah, why do I have to?” asked the long haired vulpine. The older one didn’t answer but just gave him a long look. It caused Nicholas to sweet temporally before standing up quickly. “I mean sure you and Onyx can take those guys all by yourself, right Granite?”
The said fox chuckled and stood up. “Indeed!’ he commented. “With our skills those people won’t even know what hit them!” Onyx was looking at him with a questioning look on her face. “Come here crooks! You shall regret you decision in due time I assure you!” Suddenly the two cheetahs from before came in with machine guns ready.
“Alright you!” stated the one with the blue bandana before looking at the group. “What tha… who are you freaks?! You heard the announcement didn’t ya? This train’s now under control of the Eastern Liberation Federation!”
“Looks like they’ve changed their name since the announcement,” stated Topaz. Nicholas let out another sigh.
“Well I just can’t take this anymore. Hey wait, weren’t we just in a situation like this Topaz?” By that he meant what happened in Utah.
“Yeah, we were,” she stated.
“God, somebody must’ve put a curse on us.”
“Hey, the blonde vixen and the weakling!” commented the the other cheetah. Nicholas heard that and a pissed off mark seemed to pop out on his head and the vulpine clenched his teeth together. “Who gave you permission to chat?! Just shut up and fork over the valuables!”
“This is perfect!” said the first one. “Okay, you! Take the goods from the group that’s sitting right over there, then get your ass over here weakling!”
Nicholas by this point had his eyes black with rage. “Who are you calling a weakling?!” he snarled and mechanically turned to the two bandits.
“Heh! You of course!” answered the first cheetah. “Who the fuck else is there?! You weakling!” The words seemed to echo through out the car. The vulpine snapped and lunged forward.
“YOU WANNA CONTACT THE GENUIS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS AND ENTER MY NAME IN IT?!” The male kicked the first bandit and sent him flying to the end of the car and knocked him out.
“Wow impressive Nicholas,” stated Mendoza.
"Wait… you are..” said the second cheetah and backed off before pulling something from his left pocket. James ran forward and dealt with him.
“Hmph!” commented the German Shepard. “That was pitiful!”
“Just who are these people anyway?” asked Jade, coming to where Nicholas was.
“I’m telling ya, it’s a curse,” he commented.
“Or maybe they want your autograph?”
“What?! Who?!”
Hey, what’s going on in here?” asked a voice. This time it was a male lion who came into the car but stopped when he saw the smaller vixen. A quick pressure point strike sent him down.
“Maybe he’s a fan of yours,” stated Jade.
“Very funny…” said Nicholas. He then turned to Sapphire. “Okay then. You take some of the group and find out what the explosion was about.”
“Don’t worry about,” she commented. “We’re already on it.” Emerald went to the thing from the second cheetah and it was a piece of cloth that had the words V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. on it.
“Looks like we’ve got V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. agents among us,” stated the vixen. “So everyone just watch your backs okay?”
“I know it too well!” answered Bill.
“Well then,” said Topaz as she approached Nicholas. They were joined by Jade, Paul, Emerald, and James. The others nodded and began to make their way towards the explosion. Of course after getting their weapons since their luggage was with them. It was the same for the group that was going on ahead. It was to be noted that James had a special gun that fired explosives from it for this mission. It could fire them for quite the distance.

“Okay we should split up,” stated Nicholas. “Topaz and I will take the rooftop while you four go from below.”
“Sounds good mate,” answered Paul.
“Don’t go dying on us,” commented Jade. Those two plus Emerald and James went through the door. The remaining foxes found a ladder that took them up to the roof. Once there, the two had to get their center of balance a bit. But both managed. There was plenty of room for them. Both the vulpine and vixen looked and could see three more bandits were in front of their path.
“Alright!” stated Nichols. “Time for these train-hoppers to deboard!”
“Um… will they be alright if we do?” asked Topaz.
“There’s sand on both sides of the track, they won’t get hurt too badly.” The vixen took reassurance in that. Both went forward and noticed that they had to jump to the next car. Luckily the path of the train was straight and the jump wasn’t big at all. But both foxes were still careful so as to not land and then accidentally get knocked off of the vehicle.
The enemy engaged the two. Nicholas was deadly and quick as usual. The baddies quickly learned that the vixen was better than she looked. The female used what she had learned to disarmed them and get them on the ground in the least amount of effort and violence as possible. Topaz kept remembering these guys would kill her if they got the chance. The female wasn’t going to give that to them.
As soon as these guys were defeated the two spies saw a few more baddies emerge from an opening in a roof another car ahead of the one the foxes were on. Topaz and Nicholas quickly dealt with them and went down the hole by the ladder that was underneath it. They were now in a freight car. They had hardly gone forward when more enemies emerged. But these were dressed up in a military style. The coats they wore were purple in color. Quickly getting rid of them, both foxes went forward. Another car was taken care of. The male and female were about to head forward when they heard the sound of running. Looking back they saw Jade, Paul, Emerald, and James who had caught up to them.
“Hey guys,” said the long haired vulpine. “Any of them left back there?”
“Thanks to you, I think they’re all KO’d,” stated Emerald with a grin.
“With like a little help from me,” commented Topaz.
“She did really well. She’s come a long way.” The comment made her blush.
“Well I so couldn’t let them kill me.”
“Let’s go get the rest of ‘em!” said Paul.
The group went ahead to another coach car. More baddies had to be dealt with. But were no match for the spies. A few more latter found the six at another ladder. “I guess you two will go back on the roof,” stated Jade. “I’m not complaining or anything.”
“Yeah, I think it would be best,” Nicholas replied.
“Go on ahead!” stated Topaz. “We’ve like got this!” She was now even more confident in her abilities to fight, but not be too violent and not cause death.
Both of them quickly were on the roof and saw more baddies in their way. “God!” Nicholas sighed. “Still more of them.. Were we the only non-hikackers aboard or something?” This time the vixen with him used her gun to knock some of the enemy out. At least they could see the engine ahead. As well as the first class cars. The vixens and canines hadn’t gotten a ticket for one of these to avoid suspicion as to who they were. It took a bit more of fighting but they fought their way through. After going down a hole in the roof, the two were in the first class car. Just as both were about to enter, they heard their names being called.
“Nicholas! Topaz!” It was Emerald. Looking behind them, they could see the rest of their group had caught up again.
“Oh, hey guys,” commented the vulpine with glasses. “ Are all the bad guys history yet?”
“Just the ones in the cars we cleared out, I guess,” said Jade. “At least I’ve gotten some action in.”
“The others are taking care of the cars in the back, so all we have left is the one in front and the engine,” stated James. “If the hijackers have a leader, then he’s gotta be up in front.”
“Agreed mate,” commented Paul. “But let’s be careful.”
“About their leader… Did you notice how some of the enemy were in military garb?” asked Emerald.
“Yeah, I have,” Nicholas answered. “But then again, criminals in the military are hardly a rarity.”
“Like really?” asked Topaz. “Isn’t that a bad thing for this?”
“We’ll worry about it latter. Let’s just beat up the leader and put him through the wringer. Let’s go.”
The group went through the door and found themselves in the lounge car. It was a nice place to relax and even had a bar. But there were enemies in here. One of them was a meerkat in a black military uniform. He even had a sword in his right paw.
“What the…” he said. “Wh-who the hell are you guys?!”
“Ooh, that’s menacing!” Emerald taunted. “Are you sure you’re supposed to be a bad guy?”
“Never mind that Emerald!” stated James. “His uniform…”
“Yeah it looks like he’s a military guy. Maybe even an MP,” said Nicholas.
“But then like why is this guy…?” asked Topaz.
“Hey, hey, hey!” stated the meerkat. “Stop talking about me like I’m not here! You brats… Don’t think you can get outta here alive…”
“Dealing with these goons is becoming a real hassle,” said Nicholas.

“…And it’s time to make things hassle-free! We aren’t dealing with amateurs anymore… so watch out, guys!”
“And like don’t forget to hold back Nicholas!” Topaz stated.
While she, along with Emerald, Paul, and James took care of the small fry, Jade and the other vulpine focused on the ones that had swords including the meerkat. It didn’t take much from those guys to deal with the other enemies that had guns. Even though the baddies did try hard. At certain points when it seemed like Topaz would get hurt, the quick vixen was able to get out of the situation. The others quickly fell to the other fighters.
Meanwhile those who were going against Jade couldn’t even touch her. She quickly had one after the other disarmed and down on the ground. Sighing a bit after the males still got back up, knowing it was a waste of time. It didn’t take much to put them down for go.
Finally Nicholas and the meerkat had their swords against the other. But it was clear that the vulpine was the better swordsman. There were a few times his opponent actually surprised him with an unexpected move. But nothing the fox couldn’t handle. He began to strike back, faster and faster. In about five minutes Nicholas had broken through the meerkat’s defense and got him on his knees. All the other baddies had been taken care of.

The group of six walked up to the meerkat. “Aaaargh… D-damn you…” panted the enemy. “How could I loose to you… has the world gone utterly mad?!”
“Yes it has,” growled Nicholas. “Now you’d better start explaining why a military person like you is hijacking this train to Cairo.”
“You’re like not here just to rob everyone, are you?” asked Topaz.
“Grr… who ARE you guys?” asked the meerkat.
“WE’RE the ones asking the questions here, bub!” snapped Emerald and took a step forward.

“NO! NOOO! Don’t hurt me! I’ll tell you everything… I-I was just running away…”
“Running away?” asked Nicholas. “From who?”
“From… other military police males,” stated the meerkat. “I was framed for a crime, so I had no choice but to flee and join up with V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E.”
“If it was a false charge, why didn’t you just protest?” asked Jade. “You shouldn’t have had to run and join them.”
“If the world were that simple, I wouldn’t be in so much trouble! It’s a conspiracy! We wouldn’t all have joined them if there wasn’t a warrant out for all of us!”
“What do you mean by all of us?” asked Nicholas.
“That’s right!” stated the meerkat. “Except for the few that we picked up on the way, we’re all ex-military people who worked for Anwar Sadat at one point.”
“So you’re trying to tell me that you’re ALL wanted for a crime that you collectively didn’t commit?” the long haired vulpine asked.
“Yes! Well… some of them may really be criminals… but not me! I’m innocent. I swear!”
“…And this is coming from the guys that hijacked our train…?” asked Emerald.
“Yeah, congrats,” growled Nicholas. “You’re really a criminal now. Good job!”
“I didn’t mean to cause such a scene!” the meerkat stated. “I wanted it to be more covert… All we wanted to do was get to Cairo. I’m not lying!”
“Really? What for mate?” asked Paul.
“The only one who was on our side was a tiger named Genz Bresslau. And he was the one who told us… to take shelter with V.I.L.E. and S.P.E.C.T.R.U.M.E. and they would get us to Cairo to Anwar Sadat if we did a few things first. Such as borrowing this train to get there since we’re wanted. I was going to wait in Cairo until the dust settled, and then prove my innocence!”
“Huh… All right,” Nicholas commented. “I’m beginning to see now.”
“But a place for people like this?” asked James. “I’ve never heard of such a thing…”
“But the one giving refuge is supposedly two people who are in charge of this… Mz Ruby and Citronella Jones.”
(Music stops)
The shock went through the group as fireworks that go off. “WHAT?!” they all asked.
“We heard they’re calling on ex-military people from all over Egypt,” concluded the meerkat. “That’s all I know.”
“Guys… what does this mean?” asked Topaz to them. They all looked at each other.
“I don’t have a clue…” stated Nicholas. “I wonder if it’s the same Mz Ruby and Citronella Jones we’re trying to find.”
“But calling on them?” asked Jade. “Why would that be needed…?”
The meerkat made no response but got up and ran for the door and exited the car. “Hey! Wait!” stated Emerald. “He’s getting away!”
“What?!” Nicholas shouted. “HEY! Get your ass back here!”
“Come on Jade!” commented Paul. “We need to get back to the others and tell them this! We’re faster than Emerald and James!”
“I agree,” she said. “The four of you go after him.”
“Alright, see you soon!” James answered. The group split up with Nicholas, the German Shepard, Emerald, and Topaz heading after the meerkat. The other two went back to find Sapphire and the others.
