The first stop for Nicholas was at a laboratory on an island. According to the information Topaz, Emerald, James, Onyx, Granite, and Sapphire were trapped somewhere inside. There was also something about a main power supply. This needed to be shut down as well. It wasn't long before the vulpine had been able to break in. The first room was quite big as the vulpine was able to see.
In addition to this he could see that there was a platform that acted as a path above the foliage in this room. At the end was a plunger of some kind that acted as a door opener. Next to it and against the wall was a huge skull. In addition a few mechanical boxes with pipes colored red were in here and these pipes were pointed down towards the foliage. Then Nicholas looked up and could see that a observing area was above the skull. All the members of the Deadly Five were there including a couple others. None of these two were Black Hawk or Ogel. But one was a fox with sunglasses that had red lenses, a pink colored suit, brown hair of a different shade than Nicholas's and light brown colored fur with a tanned colored muzzle. The fox agent didn't know who it was. But in time would. The one that got his attention was the panther with black fur and yellow colored eyes. He was a blue suit much like what Nicholas had on but had cuffs that turned up. There was also a chain to help hold them together. In addition he had a golden colored cane and blue gloves of the same color. This was the Evil Blue Dude.
Everyone looked as Nicholas did with a growl. Genz made a movement but was held back by Byrne who was the most calm of the group. The panther then spoke.

"Welcome to my island, Nicholas Dash Russo. I hope your visit is a pleasant one. Your friends who dropped by in earlier liked it so much they decided to stay. Permanently!" The jungle cat let out a laugh. "Fool! You'll never open my security doors! You're rescue efforts will be futile!" Then these evil people left the observing area.
"We'll see about that," Nicholas growled to himself. "Just hang on Topaz. And the rest. I'm coming for you."

The first thing that had to happen was find some way to open the door. Looking at the plunger gave the fox an idea. Running across the platform, the vulpine made it to the plunger and pushed it. This caused the skull to open up. Nicholas realized this was how to get pass the security doors. But had a feeling each time the puzzles would get harder.
Well it turns out that his hunch was right as they did get tougher. From climbing over boxes, to avoiding the guards. At least the fox was quick and cleaver enough to do so. Still Nicholas couldn't help but wonder where he might end up finding one of his friends and team members soon. And as it turned out he was in luck after going through about six rooms he found the one that had Topaz.
Looking around the fox could see that this room was designed a bit differently. There were places to jump as usual. But the biggest difference was looking over by the plunger lock showed a cage that had electricity running up and down the bars. And inside was the blond hair vixen. "TOPAZ!" Nicholas shouted which caused her to look up.
"NICHOLAS!" the female cried back.
"Just hang on tight, I'm going to get you out of there! When I do, go for the plunger next to you! It will open the door!" The vixen looked to her left and could see what her boyfriend meant. He in the meantime scanned the room and saw a switch that was attached to an electric box that was clearly hooked up to the cell.

There wasn't any time to waste. The fox took off, scrambling and jumping as fast as he could go. His girlfriend just watched on knowing that it wouldn't take long. As soon as the vulpine got the switch Topaz saw the change to the bars and knew the electricity was off. Throwing the door open, she ran to the plunger lock and got the skull open (Music stops).
Nicholas was up to her in a flash and the two foxes met in a hug. He kept licking her muzzle and kissing her over and over with the vixen doing the same before both met in for the longest kiss ever. The lovers broke apart, still holding the other close. "I so knew you would come," she whispered.
"Thank god…" the vulpine stated. "Thank god you're alive." The two came apart. "Are you hurt? They didn't beat you or… you know… expose your body and had their way with it?"
"WHAT?!" asked Topaz going bright red at the thought. "NO!" The vixen being a virgin and somewhat innocent hadn't even had thoughts of having sex. Not even with it being with Nicholas.
"Okay, I'm sorry, but I had to ask. My mind came up with the worst possible scenarios," he quickly stated. The vulpine's fact then went serious. "Because if they had I would've killed your kidnappers right on the spot for it. I will harm or kill if that's what it takes to protect you. If anyone comes between you and me, if they try to steal you from me, I will do whatever it takes to get you back. I love you that much."
Topaz went silent and her boyfriend noticed. "Sorry, that doesn't sound like me at all," the vulpine stated and touched the side of her face. "I-"
The vixen silenced him with a peck on the mouth. "It's okay," the female said. "Because if it was you I would do the same thing. Well like less aggressively. But I would do anything to get you back. If that means kidnapping or whatever. I so love you that much as well. After all of this… you're the only one I can be with and love. And I always will no matter what happens or what you do. Because I so know the true you."
"Topaz…" Nicholas began but suddenly a screen came on and the sound of it caused the foxes to turn to the wall to see the face of the Evil Blue Dude.

"Aw… What a touching moment we have here," stated the jungle cat.
"All spoiled thanks to your interruption," the vulpine growled. Topaz took a step behind him. "Why don't you do us all a favor and leave before the audience gets pissed off?"
The jungle cat let out a chuckle. "You're nothing but an extra in my script so don't get too carried away. Your biggest scene is over."
"I don't ever remember being a part of your shitty script."
"Well then, why don't you show me what a first-class script is like; through your own actions." The screen turned off (Music stops).

"Like who was that?" asked the vixen. The male told her everything that he had learned.
"I don't believe it."
"It's true," he stated. "Now maybe you can explain how you and the others got here."
"Well we got to the volcano. And then like after going in the next thing I remember is someone grabbing me behind. I defiantly remembered smelling something. And the next thing I knew I was in that cage. With a guard stating that I was so staying in there until further notice."
"So in other words you and the others were separated one at a time or something like that." His girlfriend nodded. "At least some of the others are still here. Come on, let's keep moving."
The two did so and found that now the rooms sometimes had double plunger locks. Working together Nicholas and Topaz kept pushing forward who also had her gun with her. Eventually they came across the room that held Emerald. The older vixen was very glad to finally get out and was determined to kick some bad guy butt after being put behind bars again. Of course saving her boyfriend James was first on the list. Which very luckily the three found him not too much longer after that. Which would be the last room that had jungle in it.
This time Emerald took it upon herself to free the German Shepard while Nicholas and Topaz handled the rest of the guards and things like that. The other male got the door unlocked and when he and the older vixen were reunited it was a bit like it had been for the youngest members of the team. But to a less extent. When those two were finished Nicholas took time explaining what he had learned. It left them shocked, but at least helped them answer a few questions they had in the back of their minds. Then the four went to the next room.
Coming into it showed that now there was water and sharks were in it. There was a platform above this though to walk across to another skull. And at the far end of the room was another observation area. Only this time the Evil Blue Dude was there.

"Well Nicholas Dash Russo, you've rescued Topaz, Emerald, and Crunch," stated the jungle cat. "I must say it looks like you're in rare form. Excellent. That is how my sharks like their meals. Rare; very rare!" He then laughed. "So long old chum!" After more laughing the feline left through a door.

Well that just made Emerald growl. "He seems confident we'll fall and become a meal," stated James. "Ain't gonna happen."
"Let's just move and find the others," said Nicholas. They did so and had to use teamwork to open the doors. As well as climbing over things and taking out any guards that got in their way. They also couldn't help but notice that a conveyor belt with boxes were always on one side of the room, delivering them to somewhere. After a few more rooms they found Onyx. After quickly getting the oldest Jewel Vixen out and filling her in on the situation, the group of now five went on to quickly clear out the next set of areas. Eventually they found Granite and had the eldest male out.
Once he and his wife were finished with their little reunion Nicholas turned to everyone. "Okay now the last member to find is Sapphire. She should be in here somewhere. If I had to guess near the main power supply. One of us will have to free her. The rest will take care of any guards. If she's near the power supply, we'll let her handle that. If not, one of us will need to take it out."
"I'll get that Arctic fox," stated Emerald. "James here can help me along the way."
"We'll take care of the guards," commented Onyx.
"Then that leaves me and Nicholas with the power," said Topaz.
"Sounds good," concluded the long haired vulpine. "Let's keep moving."
A few rooms latter found them at the last one. They could see the conveyor belt with boxes heading towards some kind of train that was black and red plus a diesel engine. In addition the main power supply was at the far end of the room. Then they saw Sapphire and the cage holding her on a platform right behind the train. Her pathway if freed would be perfect to deal with the power supply.
"SAPPHIRE!" the group of agents called out. She looked up and was shocked to see them.
"You guys!" the female answered back.
"Just hang tight!" Nicholas yelled. "We're going to get you out of there! And then you need to go for that plunger lock near you! Can you see it?" The Arctic fox did and answered she could. And with that the rest of her friends moved.

The other five went as quickly as possible. From jumping over crates and taken out the guards that stood in the way. Sapphire just watched, waiting for the moment she could be free. At certain points it didn't seem like the group would make it because there was a bit more ground to cover. Eventually Emerald and James made it to the lever to pull. And when they did the leader of the Jewel Vixens ran out of the cage with everything she had. In just a bit she had hit the plunger. This caused the train to become activate and the conveyor belt to stop loading boxes onto the vehicle. The first base had been taken care of and everyone was feeling good. Except more of the team and Shale were still missing (Music stops).
The Canines and Vixens got together on top of the train. "Well it seems we've done what we could here for now," said Nicholas.
"Yes," stated Sapphire. She then turned to the long haired vulpine. "Listen, I'm sorry Nicholas about running off like that."
"It's okay. If it had been Topaz that needed to be rescued I would've done the same thing."
"Listen… you didn't happen to find my father?"
"I'm afraid not," answered Nicolas. "So far you guys are the only ones who were in here."
"So Kane…" the Arctic fox didn't' finish but went silent. She knew she had to find the white wolf.
"Well let's get on this train to the next area," said Granite. "I bet it will take us to the next target."
Nodding they all got in. Along the way Nicholas filled in Sapphire on everything. The vixen was also taken by surprise but quickly got over it. Now the female had to focus on getting her father, Kane, and the rest of the members.
