I'm incapable of processing the weirdness they allow, and the weirdness that gets you banned immediately. I'm convinced that the answer lies in the mind of the mods, who are as predictable as Nazis on meth.

Oh? I thought you had quit it completely.

No. I post a journal with a link to it. I never had problems with Dragoneer or his convention; I've had a few scrapes with the mods on FA which left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ah! I must agree that they don't read. After your problem with Tina's Story I wrote a story that should have been picked up for the same reason and posted it there but never heard a word about it.

Similarly, the comics that caused all the trouble? They were there for over a decade, with even greater detail.....as written stories. They're still there.

Yeah. I was going to close up shop there but a sudden upturn in interest from the FA fans kept me on.

There are a lot of warm bodies there. They don't comment, or interact, but for just sheer exposure, it's where everybody goes....when they're new.

That's one of the reasons that I was going to close up shop there - lack of response. Then I posed that rape-fantasy story and suddenly everyone was commenting and fav'ing again. It's like it brought them back from the dead.

Sounds about right. That would wake them up.

I'm confused. He's dressed formally, but not in white tie, since his attire clearly doesn't conform. Is it a white dinner jacket? No, because generally the shoes and trousers would be black. No, it's a white tux with a white tie, meaning that he's either a lounge singer, or this takes place in 1976.

You could say many things about Sean Connery personally, but his James Bond never made a sartorial misstep. Alright, the white shorts in 'Goldfinger' were iffy, but it was Miami in the 60's. And kimonos were not his best look.

lol. Yep. I had a chance to visit the island they filmed Man with the Golden Gun on. It was occupied with squid squishers.

The island has two main parts with a low sandy area between them. Squid fishers bring the squid they catch there and their younger relatives squish the squid with an old-fashioned clothes wringer (like you would see on a manual washing tub) to get the water and ink out them. Then they hang the squished squid to dry like socks on a line. Apparently flat, died squid are easier to transport to the floating market.

Understandable, but what do you do with flat dried ones?
