Hours? Try DAYS. I'm supposed to get the license plates for my new mini truck tomorrow. They called last Thursday. The first slot the dealer could get was today.

I just traded-in my 13-year-old Rav4 for a new AWD SUV and just had them put the old plates on the new car, even though dealers get priority at our version of the DMV. Getting an appointment for a driving test or used vehicle inspection takes moths though.

Got a call at little after 9 today- the dealer had my plates, and even brought them to my office. It's the 'Vintage' that screwed things up; dealers can issue 'passenger' plates themselves.

My vehicles all turn vintage right about the time I trade them in.

Yes! checkout the 'Motocheeze' YouTube channel. He's one of my neighbors, and he does some serious trail riding and off roading in his Daihatsu pickup. I was always interested in mini trucks, so when i started watching his channel, it's like "Hey! I recognize that!" Turns out he lives just a few miles away. There's another young guy "Beforethefame" who's from Queens, and comes this way sometimes.
