name has a ? because i don't actually know the english name for these, literal translation of the japanese name is screw flower. seen growing all throughout a flower bed at the fancy apartment complex down the street from me. these things are ridiculously tiny and cute, apparently a type of orchid.

these grow all along the sidewalk near the mega don quijote in my neighborhood. never seen them before, but the black stems look sooo cool with the purple flowers.
