SMAPI

SMAPI is a lightweight, free, open-source app that lets you to enjoy Stardew Valley with mods. Keep in mind, this program doesn't include or download mods for you. You'll need to download each mod separately. Over fifty compatible mods are supported, and you can browse the full list on the creator's official site.

The easiest way to set up SMAPI is by closely following the instructions on the game's official Wiki. That said, the process is straightforward. Just extract the contents of "internalwindows" into the game's install folder so that "StardewModdingAPI.exe" sits beside the main game executable. Then, copy the file "Stardew Valley.deps.json" and rename the copy to "StardewModdingAPI.deps.json". That's it— your game is now mod-ready.
