My photo of the day – On this spring day, I was meandering on the streets of Berlin and couldn’t resist a click. I thought the reflection of the sunset was intriguing.
Berlin is a great city and I would like to visit again. 🙂

When I saw this week’s challenge and the illustrative pictorial bridge, I was excited because I had the same photo of the Oxford bridge taken in 2008 when I visited Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, UK, the Birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. This challenge is about mirrors! I have tried to showcase mirror literally using different shades, through reflections from the mirrors to the stillness of the water and even in buildings with glass facades.

For this weeks challenge, WP Guest host Lignum Draco, asks us to experiment with water. I dug into my archive and found these beautiful pictures of the sea.
The Oberbaum (Oberbaumbrücke) Bridge is a double-deck bridge crossing Berlin’s River Spree, considered one of the city’s landmarks. While Germany was divided, the Oberbaum bridge was a border crossing for pedestrians.
Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, it now connects the two halves of the district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The bridge with its great view is a popular sight for taking pictures. (Culled from the Internet)Continue reading “Photo of the Day!”→
