So, I got a phone call today from Phil, an aquaintance whom I will be working with next year. He used to be a record producer type in LA. Worked with lots of big names- the Fugees, Macy Gray, and the like. He heard me sing at opera workshop, and he's setting up a developmental studio here in Westminster. He wants me to maybe do some recording over the summer. squee! We went out for coffee, and the first step will be hooking up with a songwriter. I have melodies, lyrics in my head, but I need someone to help me turn them into songs. And so. I might record this summer. Send some positive vibes my way, people.

Also, I felt pretty today. So I took pictures. I find that if you're having a crappy self-esteem day, pulling out good pictures of yourself helps. :) So, for posterity:

6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph

When Ian came into Kerry's room to ask for a favor, it never occured to her that her four-year old brother could ask her to do something that might get her killed. What on earth induced her to behave as she did, I never could understand. It couldn't have been a sham-- she was a lotus-blossom princess. He held a fine golden chain, at the end of it dangled a key.

Haha. That almost works.

EDIT:: Eeee! As I'm on campus for much of the summer, I browsed the Westminster library and found --shockingly-- a lot of interesting Craft books that I've wanted to read. Eeee! I've got to get me a library card, stat!
