The Sunken City

At the deepest depths of the seas it is said that a race of human like beings exist, capable of bending the very waters in which they live to their whims. Whilst no official record of such beings has ever been made; from all across the world sailors and fishermen claim to have witnessed the figures of women with fish-like tails basking in the sun’s light.

Delusions, mirages, hoaxes, many such terms were used to describe these such tales. None were believed, many scorned, until that one fateful day…

Altansit, a grand city built atop a small island. Through the decades the city grew, expanding outward via the construction of great pillars that reached far into the sea’s depths. All around the world Altansit became known as the largest hub of oceanic commerce, a population surpassing the thousands and rapidly reaching towards a million.

As such, it was a great travesty the day that Altansit fell victim to the sea’s wrath. Nothing remained, the whole city now said to rest upon the ocean’s floor and yet… Not one life was lost.

In mass survivors were found washed ashore across the globe on islands and and beaches all over. Each and every one of them all claiming to have been saved by maidens of the sea, women part fish.

Wasp En’Garde

Amongst the warrior insects there’s none quite like the Waspengarde. With long pointed rapier that serves as both an arm and weapon they adopt an unusual means of combat that loosely resembles the art of fencing.

With quick near unpredictable movements aided by their perpetual state of hovering above ground, they out maneuverer the blows of their opponent. Through the use of their stings they deflect and parry their opponent’s blows before going in for the decisive strike.

Whatever you do do not mistake the graceful dancelike movements of these overgrown bugs as that of an honourable fighter who seeks only a fair dual. No, to these merciless beings the means to victory far out way the methods in which it is achieved.

And lastly we have a training dummy to help new recruits practice their sword swings.

Feisty Kitties

Releases

Deadly cats who’s claws are as sharp as knives, very few have survived their wrath.

As free spirited animals they come and go as they please and refuse to take no as an answer. Should one choose to move in to your home they will do so no matter what you say.

Oddly there are many who welcome these feisty felines into their homes, for they bring the benefit of dispatching away with rodents and pests.

Do note, these kitties will never dark upon homes that host canine companions. Take that as you may.

Sheepish Knowledge

Atop the greatest peak amidst the snow and rocks a great ram lies, said to have reached true enlightenment, capable of perceiving even the very fabrics of reality.

Many have attempted the perilous pilgrimage up the mountain’s great height in search of answers, yet few ever return. And those that do, never do they speak of that which they learnt; rather when asked, they start bleating like a deranged sheep. Forever these people are changed, often seen grazing on grass lost in deep thought.

It is for this reason the ancient knowledge contained by such sheepish creatures is considered nought but a fools folly. As only the most foolish would dare seek such unfathomable truths no man could possibly hope to understand.

Evolution is Fluffy

Releases

Whilst many believe the famously lovable pet known as the Batty to be a domesticated form of their wild counterparts, its actually the other way round.

Originally bred from a bat-like species with rough scratchy fur that was harvested to make low quality rags, their fur rapidly became soft and woolly as if adapting to a more lovable form by instinct.

This fur became so soft and lovable that not just was it used as stuffing for children’s toys but the Batty found its way into homes as beloved pets. But that was only the beginning.

As such highly adaptable creatures they would rapidly evolve to fit their current climate, changing the consistency and texture of their fluffy manes. In attempts to create new brands of batty fur they were introduced to new environments, spreading at a rate that far exceeded expectations. It wasn’t long before they even began to populate harsher lands like toxic marshes and volcanos.

Oddly enough their rapidly expanding presence did not upset the local ecosystems, instead wild Batties find nutrition in algae and moss that oddly grows upon their own fluffy manes.

Danger in the Jungle

Releases

There are many dangers in the deepest depths of the jungle, it is a world in its own right, one where only the mightiest govern the rules. The weak on their own have no hope of to claim the right to rule, not if they continue to fight alone.

In unison these creatures have learnt to fight as one. Seemingly without control they swing their axe to such an unpredictable tangent that it is much like a chaotic but finely tuned dance.

These creatures have mastered the art of fighting as one so much that they understand one another’s intent just by the most subtle of tugs from the sole rope that binds them.

Alone they may be weak, but together they form one singular warrior with skills honed to perfection.

Guardian Snakes

Releases

Guardians of ancient ruins and temples, perhaps once worshipped as deities. They establish there lairs within the deepest of chambers in which they stand guard of all that lies within; be it their eggs or even the ancient artefacts they take care to preserve and maintain.

With mighty weapons these serpents are not one to shy from a battle, taking to the fight at first provocation. Yet despite this and much unlike the typical archetype of a sly and cunning snake, these serpents fight with honour, acknowledging any warrior who bests them in fair combat.

Be warned however, should you dishonour the duel with unscrupulous tactics these snakes won’t hesitate to spit blinding venom into your eyes.

Mystical Rabbits

Releases

There was once a prosperous nation ruled by an emperor who sought the greatest of wealth. His greed knew no bounds, turning his attention to the gemstones atop the foreheads of a rather peculiar species of rabbit-like creature. These mythical stones were said to be capable of curing any ailment, granting luck and all other such mythical effects.

However the more he hunted, the more stones he collected, the more blood he spilled, the worse the fortunes that befell the entire nation. A curse; placed upon the lord and his people for the inhumane acts against the very creatures blessed by nature itself, that is what the people began to say.

Since then, the mythical carbuncle has been sighted across many lands, often found near springs and deposits of magical ores. All places which often placed under protective custardy by the surrounding nations under fear of the curse being spread once more by fools seeking wealth and power they do not deserve.

However scientists have begun to notice a particular pattern in regards to the habitats of these creatures, they are all locations containing extreme concentrations of magical energies. Magical energies that normally if left unchecked prove toxic to both humans and the surrounding wildlife alike, and yet the toxic potency of these energies remains low. Could there be some connection between the carbuncles and the suppression of harmful energies…
