The San Francisco Housing Development Corporation provides many financial empowerment workshops and public events throughout the year. While our public events focus on bringing our community together as we build our city into a better home, our workshops cover the important top topics of building personal financial security. Workshops by SFHDC’s Financial Empowerment Center provided keen insight in navigating the San Francisco BMR (below market rate) housing system for first-time homeowners and finding and keeping affordable housing for long-time renters. Additional workshops focus on topics from personal debt, and student loan management, building personal wealth, and business credit basics.
