We make no express warranties other than as expressly set forth in this warranty. THE REMEDIES IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Persons Entitled to Coverage.
This Seiko Extended Limited Warranty (this “Extended Limited Warranty”) applies solely to Select Seiko Luxe products purchased (“Eligible Purchases”). This Extended Limited Warranty automatically extends the three (3) year limited warranty provided upon a purchase of a Seiko watch for one (1) additional year. All of the terms and conditions of the Standard Limited Warranty apply to the Extended Limited Warranty except that the Extended Limited Warranty provides warranty coverage during the fourth (4th) year after purchase.
What this Warranty Covers.
This Extended Limited Warranty warrants that if your Luxe watch proves upon presentation by you to be defective in material or workmanship at any time during the fourth (4th) year after the date of original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”), SWA will adjust or repair your Seiko watch, including replacement parts or movements, watch bracelet or its components, strap, crystal , glass, battery or any accessories (including, but not limited to, any pouch or belt attached to the watch), without charge, except that you are responsible for all postage, insurance and shipping costs incur red in presenting or sending the watch to one of the SWA Service Centers. SWA hereby reserves the right to make substitutions of equal value and similar appearance.
What this Warranty Does Not Cover.
This Limited Warranty does not cover: • water damage (unless the watch is clearly designated on the back of the watch case as water resistant); • damages caused by wear and tear; • scratches on the watch case caused by use; • damage to the watch from acts of god or natural disasters, including, without limitation, damage from fire, floods, or earthquakes; • damage to the watch while in possession of the consumer not resulting from a defect in material or workmanship; • damages caused by tampering with or opening the watch other than normal use; and • damage to the watch from repairs performed by anyone other a SWA Service Center.
Period of Warranty Coverage.
SWA warrants your Seiko watch during the fourth (4th) year after the date of original retail purchase.
How to Get Service.
To qualify for service under this warranty, you must, during the Warranty Period:
