ISI Internal Training Workshop – SecOPERA project’s vision
On December 22nd, the Scientific and Technical Coordinator of the SecOPERA project, the Industrial Systems Institute (ISI) organized and hosted an internal technical workshop to present the project’s vision and demonstrate the merits and advantages of the SecOPERA solution. During the session, the ISI team was present, comprised of researcher, engineers and contributors working on software and hardware security, post-quantum solution, AI security and privacy-related algorithms fostering an interesting discussion around the SecOPERA project.
The session highlighted the Security Audit and Testing Engine, and specifically the Open Source Hardware (OSH) Security Assessment. Our team members were shown how hardware assets can be assessed using ISI’s hardware assessment tool.
Additionally ISI also showcased the Secure Module Pool, featuring ready-to-use security components. Special focus was given to the solutions regarding quantum-resistant cryptography and elliptic-curve cryptography solution, reinforcing resilience against advanced attacks.
Through this workshop, ISI reinforced its scientific and technical role in SecOPERA, highliting the importance of a device-layer security, and how it is a vital part of any security pipeline that incorporates hardware elements, and how ISI’s role supported the project’s pilots and real-world deployments.
