THE SECOND ACT STRATEGIST

Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 25, 2026

Terms of Service

Welcome to The Second Act Strategist, a Substack publication operated by Tracy Friedlander through Mastery Life, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing, subscribing to, or purchasing any offering through this publication, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Agreement to Platform Terms

This publication is hosted on Substack. By using this publication, you also agree to Substack’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which govern the platform’s collection, use, and handling of your data. We encourage you to review Substack’s policies directly, as they apply independently of these Terms of Service.

2. Nature of Content

All content published through The Second Act Strategist — including but not limited to posts, Notes, emails, courses, cohorts, workshops, Q&A calls, and any associated materials — is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only.

This content does not constitute professional advice of any kind. We do not provide medical, financial, legal, psychological, or any other licensed professional advice. Nothing published or communicated through this publication should be interpreted as a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals in those fields.

3. No Guarantee of Results

While we share strategies, frameworks, and insights drawn from real experience, individual results will vary. We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties — express or implied — regarding specific outcomes, earnings, audience growth, or any other results from applying the information provided.

Your success depends on a wide range of factors unique to you, including but not limited to your effort, consistency, existing skills, market conditions, and individual circumstances. Participation in any of our offerings does not create an employer-employee, advisor-client, or fiduciary relationship.

4. Paid Subscriptions

The Second Act Strategist offers free and paid subscription tiers through Substack. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to the following:

Billing: Paid subscriptions are billed at the rate displayed at the time of purchase (monthly, annual, or founding tier). Substack handles all payment processing. Billing terms, payment methods, and subscription management are subject to Substack’s own terms and policies.

Bonuses and Benefits: Paid tier bonuses, perks, and included benefits are subject to change at any time, at our sole discretion. We may add, modify, or discontinue specific bonuses without prior notice. Your continued subscription after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

No Retroactive Refunds: We do not issue refunds for past billing periods based on unused bonuses or benefits. If your subscription included access to Q&A calls, workshops, or other time-sensitive bonuses and you did not attend or use them, no refund or credit will be provided for those periods.

Cancellation: You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your Substack account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid content through the end of your current billing period.

5. Courses, Cohorts & Workshops

From time to time, we offer paid courses, live cohorts, and workshops. These products are sold through third-party platforms (such as Course Creator 360, Kit Commerce, or Stripe) and are subject to the following terms:

Scheduling: Live sessions, including Q&A calls, are scheduled at our discretion. We do not guarantee that sessions will occur on the same day or time each month, nor do we guarantee that the schedule will work with your personal availability. If scheduling flexibility is important to you, please inquire before purchasing.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of these offerings, all sales of courses, cohorts, and workshops are final. If you have questions about the format, schedule, or content of an offering, please reach out before purchasing.

Access & Delivery: Course materials are delivered digitally. We are not responsible for technical issues on your end, including internet connectivity, device compatibility, or third-party platform outages.

6. Intellectual Property

You may share links to our published posts. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish our content — in whole or in part — without express written permission. This applies to both free and paid content.

7. User Conduct

By engaging with this publication and its community spaces (including comments, chat, and any associated groups), you agree to interact respectfully. We reserve the right to remove comments, restrict access, or revoke subscriptions for behavior that is abusive, harassing, spammy, or otherwise disruptive.

8. Third-Party Links & Platforms

This publication may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those external sites. Any interaction you have with a third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms.
