About the challenge:

The Seattle Divergent Hackathon, in partnership with Microsoft, is a full-day, in-person Hackathon for 100+ high school participants on March 21st, 2026.

 

Students spend the day identifying problems, prototyping solutions, and pitching to experts for a chance to win cash prizes.

 

This immersive experience fosters essential soft skills and leadership in young innovators by connecting them with professional mentors.

Requirements

What to Build:

An application of any kind, it can be a web page, game, or a desktop/mobile app, but it has to fit the criteria of the track you are participating in. Applications can be in any language.

What to Submit:

A GitHub Repository containing all changes to your project, as well as any materials you will use during your presentation to the judges.
