Each workshop is held online through Zoom on the last Sunday of each month at 7pm-9pm EST.
The ticket for the workshop allows you to access the Zoom meeting on the date of the workshop, the recording of the Zoom meeting, and any files relevant to the class.

March -Being a Spiritworker

Description
What is a spiritworker? What things can a spiritworker be called to do? What duties and responsibilities might a spiritworker hold? How do I know if I am being called to be a spiritworker?
This discussion-based workshop explores these questions and other basics of being a spiritworker, including boundaries, finding effective means of spiritual communication, building networks of support, and skills for being an effective spiritworker.

April -Basics of Heathen Magic

Description
This workshop will explore the concepts and practices of various forms of Heathen magic. We will explore what we know from the sources we have, and what ways these are similar and different from our modern practices. Among the topics we will explore will be galdr, seiðr, spá, taufr, hamfara, and Runework.

May -Basics of Landvættir

Description
Landvættir, or land spirits, are beneath our feet, soaring overhead, and living with us. They are the food we eat, the plants in the field, and each animal. What are They? How do we develop good relationships with Them? How do we live well with Them? Explore these questions as we each sit with our own landvættir.

June -Basics of Seiðr

Description
Seiðr at its core is magic done with vættir, spirits, to affect change in Urðr or Wyrd, the interconnected tapestry or carving of creation. Involved with seiðr is a complex of magical actions, rituals, and varieties of vættir that can be involved with its performance and uses. This workshop covers the basics of this system of magic, how to do seiðr as safe as possible, and ways to explore with seiðr for yourself.

July -Basics of Heathen Souls: Sálættr

Description
This workshop explores the basics of Heathen Souls as they exist in community, called a Sálættr, or soul tribe/clan. Each soul is understood as a Being unto Itself in community with each other in ways that makes each one of us unique. This workshops explores what each soul is, how each soul makes up the Sálættr, and how we are, in and between ourselves, a community.

August -Acts of Devotion

Description
In this workshop and discussion we will explore ways to honor our Gods, Ancestors, and spirits. These ways can be small, such as daily prayer, offerings, everyday mindfulness, and keeping ourselves healthy and engaged in the world, to more intense ways such as learning crafts, writing books, engaging in activism, spiritual work, and making temples.
September -Digging the Dvergar: Developing Relationships with Dwarves

Description
The Dvergar, Dwarves, are a group of vaettir, spirits, in Heathenry. These hardworking vaettir are legendary crafters, creating many powerful tools for the Gods, such as Óðinn’s spear Gungnir, Þórr’s Hammer Mjölnir, and Freyja’s Necklace Brisingamen. They are so much more than crafters. Come, and learn how to develop respectful, good relationships with Them!
October -Calling to the Ancestors

Description
How do we call to our Ancestors? Are our Ancestors just flesh and blood, or can They be those who brought us to our path? Why would we call Them? This workshop explores these questions, and many basics of Ancestor work, including who They may be, ways to call on Them, and how we can involve Them in our daily lives.
Bring your questions about Ancestor work. Bring comments and experience about your own work with the Ancestors, and bring items related to, or from your Ancestors. Please bring offerings if you are so inclined, as there will be an Ancestor ritual at the end of the lecture.
November -Yggdrasil, Its Roots, and Its Worlds: Heathen Cosmology

Description
This lecture will dig into the ground of Heathen cosmology, exploring the World Tree Yggdrasil, where Its Roots run, and the Worlds that rest within It. We will explore who lives where, the tribes of Gods, what the Ancestors are and where They can be found, and what vaettir (spirits) there are.
January 2026 -Encountering the Runes
Date: 1/25/2026 at 7pm EST
Description
The Runes are often looked at as simply a divination tool. This workshop is about approaching the Runes as spirits in and of themselves. The workshop explores what the lore can tell us about Them, to how to interact with Them, to appropriate offerings and communication, and will delve into deeper aspects of Runework from a spirit-based approach.
