Happy Christmas to everyone, sorry it's a couple of days late tho! I had a pretty good one, I have to admit. Yesterday was good, got up, which was probably the hardest part of the day, was naughty and drank way too much the night before. Then went visiting rellies and had mums gorgeous roast. Cheers justjessanne! And finally I fell asleep in front of either Shrek or Toy Story 2! Got some lovely pressies, Friends dvds, Simpsons dvds, a hugh jewelry box, Jonny Depp Calendar and stacks more. Today I had to work which was not so good, but my boss was in a very good mood so that when my friends came in she let me just stand there and talk! She also let us out 15 mins early so that was great! Then it was over to my grandparents house for another big roast. Now I'm tired and should go to bed but for some reason I had the urge to update, maybe it's the Christmas mood! Oh in other news, I finally have another car, after mine was stolen about 5 days after I had passed my test. really hope they find the sods that stole it and justice is done. very pissed off with the police as they seem to be doing nothing to find them. Must go to bed I think! Current Mood: happy

I’ve been badgered into updating so here goes; Yet again the convention (Serenity – not that people wont know what I’m talking about!) was absolutely amazing, even though it was well over a week ago! Nathan Fillion was so funny as per usual, and this time no gay shirts! His chemistry on stage with all the other cast members was great, and as they all said many a times they really do resemble a family! So sweet. Having my picture taken with him was just …drool! Alan Tudyk looked so shocked to see so many people cheering and applauding him when he came out at the opening ceremony. It was great to have had him there. At least he gave Nathan a run for the funniest guest! Oh and he did a line from I, Robot as well which was pretty cool. Having my picture taken with him was just …extra drool! The surprise guests, Ron Glass, Chris Buchanan and Mark Sheppard were a great laugh and really nice to see. Had my picture with Ron too; great guy. Had to laugh, had a conversation with Mark when he was signing, about children, and he actually asked if I had kids!? Summer Glau, Jewel Staite and Morena Baccarin were all beautiful, as per usual. So nice to see them again. Although I was shocked to find out that Summer is older than Jewel! Am I the only one who didn’t know this? It was so nice to see people again. scourgeoe, fallen_wiccan, helygen, great to see you all. Big *hugs* to you all. Can't wait till Quort'toth, or possible Serenity2! And just a little thank you to crazy_dolphin for driving us up and back to Heathrow. Oh can’t forget to mention the ‘cute guy’ who for the record spoke to me first! Yay that never happens will hopefully see him at Quor'toth and I may even ask for his name... As for the now, damn Uni exams. Done two so far and I’ve definitely failed my shorthand exam! Got another one on Friday, and three more spread over the next few weeks! But on the plus side I now have a car of my own!! Yay. It’s a Nova Swing! And ok, it’s a fair few years old, but when it gets going it’s pretty cool!

See I do have one of these. I just don't use it all that often. Just had to go on about the wonderful weekend that has just past. Had the best time ever. The guests were great, and the fact that I got to see some friendly faces again, was also a bonus. I had my picture taken with Christian Kane, with his Lindsey tattoos, who for the record smelt really nice. J. August, who is very tall, I only just come up to his shoulder. And Jonathan Woodward, who I can only describe as huggable. To celebrate the whole Halloween thing I decided to wear my devil horns hair band, and was told that I should wear it through the photos as well, so I did! So here’s the run down (not that you haven’t already heard this I’m sure): J. August Richards; was I believe such a gentleman, especially when he was on stage with Summer. He kept pouring her a glass of water, very sweet I thought. Just a generally great person. Christian Kane; so very gorgeous. He has a brilliant singing voice, and wonderful music talent. Same goes for Steve Carlson. The acoustic set on Saturday was well worth the wait, but their album is even better. Nathan Fillion; amusing as ever. Although he did tell me ‘nice glasses’ which is odd as they are about five years old! Stephanie Romanov; nice, amusing person. She has a really good singing voice, even if she only sang two lines. Although I still can’t figure out why she burst into laughter when my program was passed to her to be signed. Strange! Morena Baccarin; is so pretty. I love the way that she can take any comments Nathan throws at her in her stride. Summer Glau; third time I’ve seen her, and you can tell she’s got a lot more confident in herself. Really great guest to see. David Denmen; who I didn’t realise was in Big Fish until this weekend. Loved that film. Got to talk to David briefly about Tim Burton, who is a great director, and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory which I am looking forward to seeing when it comes out. David and Jonathan were so good with the whole auction thing. I found them hilarious. Dayne Johnson; was great also. Just a pity I missed it when he showed everyone how to put on tattoos, but then again I was having my pic taken with J at the time. Carrie Grace (costume chic); brilliant hair colour. She too was highly amusing, especially when she dropped the apple (was it??) on the ground during the auction. Oh and she makes a great couple with Jonathan, those two just look so sweet together. Jonathan Woodward; was probably the highlight of the weekend for me. I adore this guy. I found him and David so funny when they were doing the auction; I even had cheek pains because I was laughing so much. And I got a small conversation with him at the autograph table. As I had had my photograph with him earlier in the day, with my devil hair band on, he thought my name was Cat, which of course it isn’t. As he was signing he stopped, and I asked him if he had forgotten how to spell his own name! So he went through his whole name letter by letter. This actually made my day, sad, I know. So I had a really great time. Now on more general terms, uni is getting harder. There is so much work to do, it is unbelievable. And it's only the start of the second year, so who knows what it will be like in the third. And they have taken away our reading week/half term or whatever you want to call it. No fair, as I have so much work that I really need some more time to do it in. Oh well, just had a phone call from work asking if I could work 11-2, and I actually have a driving lesson 11-1, how convenient, but I did say that I would go in for a bit afterwards. Yay driving lesson, my first in about four weeks. Right must get going, lots to do. Before I forget: Current Mood: tired

Well it may not be sunny but I am off to Woolacombe Bay tomorrow, for a whole week with Mike and his family. Oh this could be fun. Haven't been up to all that much recently except work. Had fun on Monday, The Day After Tomorrow was really good. Went and saw Harry Potter 3 yesterday. I have spent so long waiting for that film to come out so that I can go and see it, and I was disappointed in what I saw. I'm a massive Harry fan and the third book has got to be my favourite, but they missed out most of the good parts in the film. I felt as though it jumped a lot, or maybe that's just because I knew the story well. The film missed out a lot of the explanations of what happened and why it happened, which I enjoyed reading. Although I can't diss the graphics that was used, as that was amazing, and the acting was also really good. I'm glad I saw it, I just wished they had included some of the bits I enjoyed the most from the book. Well that's my ranting done for the day, now I'd better go and pack. I can't believe how busy I have been recently. Haven't had time to do a proper read of other entries, so if I have missed anything important, sorry. Last week I had a lovely time up in Bristol, and I did not want to kill my best mate by the end of it, which was also a bonus! We went out on all three of the nights, and got far too drunk, I ended up being sick in a club toilet. We also got to visit the Zoo, and it was great to see all the adorable animals. Made me feel like a kid again. Also got to lounge in the sun for a day. Went up to Guildford for the last half of last week, and managed to see Troy. Up till now I have never seen the fascination that so many people have with Brad Pitt, but after that film I'm definitely a fan. Eric Bana, who plays Hector is also very good looking. The film wasn't bad either, and is definitely worth a watch. This week I have finally managed to clear some junk off my floor, so that now I can see the colour of my carpet again. I can also take more than two steps in my bedroom, which is impressive. I have been meaning to do this for some time, it's not tidy but it's a start. The Evanescence concert that I went to on the Monday was amazing. Amy has such a strong and powerful voice. I'm sure theres more I can go on about, but I'm really tired, and my bed calls, so I'm off. Wow, It's been a whole week already? It feels like I haven't had time to come on here, but when I think about it I haven't been all that busy. Ok, quick update of my lovely week. Monday I managed to hand-in the last bits of my work at Uni. Then as it was such a lovely day I went and sat in the park and watched my friend attempt to fly a kite, but as there was no wind he failed and gave-up. Tuesday I went all the way into Uni for a five min interview to decide what pathway I want to take next year; print or broadcast. I've chosen print. After the interview I went for a big shop and bought a lot of birthday pressies for various people who happen to have a birthday soon. Oh I also got Scissor Sisters album, which is pretty good. In the evening I went and saw Van Helsing, which I loved. Not only is Hugh Jackman absolutely gorgeous but he has such a fit body! Wednesday, work. Brothers Birthday, so we had pizza. Thursday, went round Mikes and failed to make omelettes, so we ended up with scrabbled egg on toast. In the evening we met up with some friends and went to pizza hut, yep more pizza. Friday, had a driving lesson and got to play with 3 point turns, although I can only do them in 5. Work. Went out for the eve with my mates from Uni as a fare-well for the summer. It's going to be weird not seeing them everyday for the next four months. Had a pretty good night out. Went to four pubs and then we tried this newly opened fast food place called Mammas. Rather pricey, and to be honest the food was not all that nice. Saturday more work and then went to a friends 18th party. Today I'm off to Bristol for a few days to visit a friend. Although she's my closest mate, I can guarantee you that we will want to kill each other by the end! We just have a way of getting on each others nerves. Better go and get my stuff ready. Well I'm sitting at the computer, and I've got little to do. Just got to put together a portfolio with about five months worth of work, which is pretty much done anyway, for tomorrow. Then I'm finished uni for four and a half months. The wedding yesterday wasn't all that bad. There wasn't that many rellies that I had to meet of Mikes, just his cousin, who was the one getting married and his parents (Mikes Auntie and Uncle). They all seemed like nice people. The day wasn't too bad either. Nice service. Gorgeous dress. Had a lovely three course meal, and a nice buffet and disco in the evening. It was a very long and tiering day, pity it was cold and wet, we had to stand outside the church for ages. Went back to Mikes afterwards to watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles, but I fell asleep, so missed most of it! I did manage to watch Shawshank Redemption for the first time on Friday. It's a really good film, just the right amount of characters and plot. Also based on a true story, always a good. Damn HMV for having an offer on this week. Three DVD's for £20, so I bought some good old girly films, (Sorry scourgeoe). I got Bring It On, Save The Last Dance, and My Best Friends Wedding. All good films, or so I've been told. Haven't actually seen Save The Last Dance, but I will, one day. Current Mood: bored
