Samford University Main Campus Faculty, Adjunct Faculty*, and Staff- Books, either obtained via ILL or located in our library, can be delivered to the departmental office of faculty/staff during Fall and Spring semesters. This service is available only to faculty and staff of Samford University.** Adjunct faculty are eligible for ILL privileges during the semester in which they are teaching.
During summer terms, books and other tangible items will be held for faculty and staff at the University Library's 1st floor Circulation Desk.

ARTICLE items will be shipped to you electronically.
Because you are faculty/staff you are eligible to have your requested items delivered to your office location so that you do not have to come into the library to pick up items as they arrive.
However, since you are located at the College of Health Sciences extended portion of the Samford Campus we have to do document deliveries a bit differently. We request that items be delivered and returned as follows:
Deliveries to Staff/ Professors located at the College of Health sciences will use large yellow vinyl communication bags. Please review the outline below.
Receiving Items:
When items are received in our office to be delivered to you we will pack the item in a yellow zippered bag (no more than 1 item per bag).
The item will be accompanied by its ILL paperwork. (Please do not remove or discard the paperwork attached to your item.)
The item will ship to you as normal interoffice correspondences would.
Returning Items:
When you are finished with an item and ready to return please place the item into the same zippered bag (no more than 1 item per envelope).
Send the item addressed to “ Samford University Library – Room 410, Interlibrary Loan."
If you prefer to pick up and return your items to the library circulation desk, please let us know; your items will not go through inter office mail but instead, will be held at the circulation desk for you to pick-up at your convenience.

Faculty/ Staff of the Samford University Academy of the Arts (AOA)

However, since you are located at an extended portion of the Samford Campus we have to do document deliveries a bit differently. We will send books/media through interoffice correspondence using yellow vinyl zippered bags.
Receiving items:
When items are received in our office to be delivered to you we will pack the item in a yellow zippered bag (no more than 1 item per bag) addressed to you at the AOA and leave it in the pickup location in the art department mail room (main campus). The item will be accompanied by its ILL paperwork (please do not remove or discard the paperwork attached to your item). Jane Caswell is the contact who coordinates mail going to the AOA.
Returning items:
When you are finished with an item and are ready to return, please place the item into the same zippered bag (no more than 1 item per envelope). Send the item through campus mail addressed to "Samford University Library- Room 410, Interlibrary Loan."
If you prefer to pick up and return your items to the library circulation desk please let us know; your items will not go through interoffice correspondence/ the Art Department but instead, will be held at the circulation desk for you to pick-up at your convenience.
