The 50 finalist projects may be selected by a Jury composed of Organizers and Partners to receive cash grants provided by the TTO of Politecnico di Milano (S2P Grant) and the initiative’s Partners. These financial contributions will be complemented by in-kind services to effectively support the growth of the startups.
Special Grant
Officine Innovazione is a Deloitte entity that promotes the culture of innovation and provides innovation development and management services. It works through partnerships to guide the evolution of the business community in Italy in a logic of Technology Transfer and Open Innovation dedicated to startups.
A Special Grant of 30 thousand euros will be assigned to the winning initiative, in order to support the growth of highly innovative early-stage startups with a project in line with the proposed themes.
The Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi accompanies and supports aspiring entrepreneurs and startups in their growth and development journey, with tailor-made services, group and one-to-one thematic meetings with experts, calls for contributions, competitions and much more, thanks to the services of the Milan Chamber of Commerce system. To be in line with their strategy, the Chamber of Commerce focuses more on areas related to sustainability: green energy, smart mobility, sustainable manufacturing, green building, agritech and foodtech, circular economy, sustainable tourism, sustainable and alternative mobility.
The Chamber of Commerce provides 3 Grants of 30,000 euros each, with the aim of supporting the birth and growth of new deeptech startups.
The Special Grant “Bike Economy”, worth 20,000 euros, aims to support innovation and improve the competitiveness of the bicycle sector, with particular attention to three areas:
Production and distribution: innovative solutions (including incremental ones) to improve the production and distribution of bicycles, components and accessories. Also included are software solutions for supply chain management, the promotion of the use of bicycles and e-bikes, and the enhancement of the on-board or bicycle-related experience.
Safety: concrete and innovative ideas to increase the safety of cyclists, pedestrians, bicycles and infrastructure.
Circular economy: sustainable solutions related to repair, maintenance, reconditioning, regeneration, recycling of materials, modular and eco-friendly design, bike sharing and take-back and reuse programs (“take-back).
