In case anyone was wondering what I've been up to these past few weeks, I got a job as a neighborhood canvasser and then lost it because I'm bad at canvassing. But seriously, you guys, if a canvasser ever comes to your door collecting for anything, as long as it's not something you hate or vehemently disagree with, just give them five bucks. Everybody has five bucks and it will make their fucking day. They have to be all professional at the door but as soon as they leave they're like EEEE SOMEBODY DONATED EEEE. I'm not even kidding. Well I'm exaggerating slightly but it's basically true and I definitely did that on a few occasions. ALSO, please don't support blowing the tops off of mountains to get coal because it's a really dumb thing to do.

ETA: ALSO, fuck I forgot, I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW. It is on Friday and it's just a 15-minute preliminary thing, but the lady actually seemed excited that I called about the position and actually knew what the hell they do (they're an environmental activism agency that works by "educating the public" aka talking to locals and asking them to sign petitions and stuff) so I think I have a shot! It's full time and includes some benefits, so...yay! WISH ME LUCK, god knows I need it!

This looks like fun. No one will be at all surprised by what I choose, but I might do it again later with something different.

Went to a pub today with the roomies and watched Crew tie 2-2 against Toluca, thanks pretty much entirely to Steven Lenhart and his hair, which is on loan this season from Steven Keel. I should probably find a team to support that doesn't usually suck, and also whose colors don't make me look washed out and greenish.

Steve, the guy I went out with last week, drunk dialed my via IM last night to tell me that since he lives in Pittsburgh, the distance is a little far to try to establish something, which I agreed with (I'd been thinking something similar and was trying to come up with a way to tell him without sounding like a jerk). We agreed to keep in touch, and somehow ten minutes later he was trying to give me dating advice and wanted me to hook up with him. I told him he should probably go to bed because it was almost 5am and he took off. ...So that was interesting.
