RSS Xpress is a powerful RSS reader. The application is very easy to use, and its interface is very similar to e-mail clients like Outlook Express. Besides, it supports 13 languages in this new version.
The application allows you to categorize your RSS feeds easily. The program also brings an extensive catalog of websites clearly itemized, so you can add new feeds in an easy way. This catalog consists only of English and French sites, though. The application enables you to create custom filters for your RSS feeds. That is, you can set criteria for the news to be filtered by author, category, description, title, or URL. In addition the program can run actions such as changing your feeds to different colors or deleting them.
On the other hand, the program can check for news automatically every 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or every 1, 2 or 3 hours. When there are new feeds, the program will display a small pop-up window in the bottom right part of your screen. Finally, the current version brings some improvements and bug fixes (for instance, you can now add a feed even if this does not contain news).
