I just took a look at your link - wow! Now I just need to clone myself so I can go through all the data. An astounding resource. I watched the video on that page re: dopamine and melatonin, and it reminded me of the connection to melanocytes. It seems that melanin is really a miracle molecule that can do so much for us, including building our reservoir of both dopamine and melatonin. This is why wearing sunglasses is so detrimental, as we secrete melanocyte hormone (MSH) when we see Sunlight.
What about people who wear just regular eyeglasses? Is that also blocking the benefits of sunlight to the eyes? I’m not wearing them in my profile photo but It do wear glasses.
Great question Cynthia...you know, I'm not totally sure- but most glasses have UV-B blocking built in, which can disrupt our hormones. You should be ok as long as you get some sunlight and are outside in the AM. Contacts are definitely no bueno.

Ill look into this further, but you may want to check with the manufacturer to find out what kind of UV the glasses block

Thanks, and now that you mention it, they do put “anti-glare” coatings on glasses. Appreciate the advice!
