Our Quality Control Engineers are thoroughly trained in the International Building Code, AWCI 12-A and 12-B manuals, NFCA 100–400 manuals, state-specific building codes, UL tested designs, and essential ASTM standards such as E119, E605, E736, D3359, and D4541. Several of our engineers also hold Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) certification, ensuring the highest level of accuracy, accountability, and documentation.

Our testing and inspection processes include substrate inspections of structural steel, primer adhesion testing (ASTM D3359), primer pull-off adhesion testing (ASTM D4541), thickness verification to meet UL tested designs (ASTM E605), dry density testing for cementitious fireproofing (ASTM E605), and adhesion/cohesion testing (ASTM E736). In addition, our technicians coordinate with certified third-party inspectors and maintain complete documentation to verify compliance on every project.

Through disciplined oversight, rigorous testing, and unwavering attention to detail, Rolling Plains Construction continues to set the benchmark for quality, safety, and reliability in the fireproofing and construction industry.
