☆ Give us a brief rundown of what you characters have been up to. Hook-ups, break-ups, fights, discoveries, epiphanies, near-death experiences, in-character Rift comings and goings. Things that you believe other muns might be interested and/or need to know, and might affect their own characters. Brainstorm! Where do they go from here? What would help or hinder their plans? Which would you prefer?
Or rather, if you're a new mun, tell us about your character and what direction you're interested in taking them, what kind of CR you're looking for.
☆ Post in with ideas that you have for your character(s)--how you want them to develop, ideas you might have for them in the near and not-so-near future, the sky is the limit. Basically, let everyone know what everyone was up to in 2011 if you'd like, and what everyone would like to be up to throughout 2012.

You will be taken to the post in our mod journal with details to the event. Read it, learn it, love it--and start bouncing off ideas to involve your characters. As always, participation for any event is always optional. If you have any questions, you can ask them here, too.
☆ Get enabled. Post about your prospective characters! Enable others! Any characters you'd really love to see in game/in your cast? Maybe someone around here has a muse for them.
☆ Profit. Don't be shy about approaching muns with suggestions or plot ideas or just a general 'SO-AND-SO SHOULD MEET.' Don't be shy about saying what you'd like to do with your character and where you'd like to take them, who you'd like them to have more CR with, etc.
