Academic Writer Made Easy

Are you using all the features available in Academic Writer? New and experienced users are invited to join us on a tour of Academic Writer’s three centers. Getting Started with Excel for Statistics

Need help getting started with MS Excel for your statistics course? This group session provides a guided overview of Excel fundamentals, with a focus on tools and concepts commonly used in statistics coursework. Students will work through examples and gain practical experience using Excel for academic assignments. Appointment Scheduler (Math & Statistics)

Getting Started With PowerPoint

                                       Tuesday 10:00 a.m. 

 

This session will focus on a variety of functions in PowerPoint to improve efficiency in slide creation and strategies to make your presentations more effective! Students will review functions available through the toolbar, including slide layouts, using the Designer, and inserting/deleting slides, and some advanced functions including using photographs and SmartArt graphics. Students will leave with the skills to confidently set up a PowerPoint presentation! Appointment Schedule (Writing)

Intro to StatCrunch

Tuesday 5:00 p.m. 

 

This group session will introduce you to the StatCrunch data analysis tool. It is designed for students with little to no experience using StatCrunch. Students will learn how to navigate the platform, identify how to get started with a StatCrunch project, and practice generating basic statistics using StatCrunch. Appointment Scheduler (Math & Statistics)

This session will focus on key elements of successful public speaking habits and proper Zoom etiquette. The session will prioritize clear and concise communication, offer tips for conquering the fear of public speaking, and guide participants in personalizing their Zoom settings to appear professional.
