so pissed that one of the subjects in this post is extinct before it even got the chance to truly exist (thanks murphy and co.), but i'm posting the icons anyway in homage to what could have been.

these are just a few muses that wouldn't leave me alone. and i just wanted to make sure i wasn't completely rusty on icon-making. the amount of time it took me to finish these showed me that i indeed am.

i've recently plunged into this show and its particular degree of pretty, so this challenge came at the perfect time.
images are organized into setting features / attributes / trends i noticed while watching. organized, mind you, in a very loose
categorical order that might only make sense in my head, but hopefully the colors and cinematography
is distracting enough to make up for that, lol. feel free to take a guess at the categories in the comments :) spoiler heavy.

99: picspam - RENT.

picspammy. }

i'd never even heard of tv tropes before this challenge, and i'm kind of mad i do now, because i definitely don't need another time drain to add to my life. that's exactly what this site is. so easy to get lost in the linked, wiki-style pages. it really is a fandom encyclopedia.

rent has about a million tropes attached to it, so i decided to use the alphabet to narrow down my choices. g, k, q, u, v, x, & z are the letters not represented.

disclaimers - (1) don't get it twisted by looking at this spam: i am a huge RENThead. these tropes just gave me the op to poke fun at some of its wackier aspects, and it was insanely fun to dissect the film. (2) very, very image heavy. very. (3) lots of text taken straight from the tropes pages. (4) FILLED WITH SPOILERS.

to celebrate jesse's upgrade to full-time status on ga, here is a picspam of the notable interactions between one dr. cristina yang and one dr. jackson avery. there's nothing between them officially yet, but i think this cast addition ensures that something is forthcoming. this is some evidence to back that theory up. plus, they're just adorable for no reason when they're in scenes together.
