Hemophilia A is a serious genetic (and sometimes acquired) bleeding disorder that inhibits proper blood clot formation, leading to prolonged and even spontaneous bleeding events that significantly affect patients' health when not appropriately managed. Current therapies are effective at managing the disease, with life expectancy rising from 11 years in the 1960s to 65.5 years from 2010 to 2020. Several comprehensive guidelines are available for presentation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of this disease.
