Welcome to Read It Again!

Read It Again! offers free curriculum supplements designed to develop and strengthen young children’s early foundations in language and literacy, social-emotional, and math skills. The easy-to-follow manuals are tailored for both infants and toddlers as well as preschoolers and enhance the work already taking place in early learning environments.

GET READ IT AGAIN!

Skill Building

Read It Again! provides a systematic, intentional, and flexible approach to building children’s skills.

Storybooks

The program includes 15 preselected, high-quality storybooks and is delivered using lightly scripted lessons twice per week for 30 weeks.

Monitor Progress

Implementation strategies are provided to meet the needs of all learners, as well as tools to monitor learner progress.

How to get Read It Again!

Read It Again! are free resources for early educators who want to bring recent research findings regarding the importance of explicit and systematic instruction into their learning environments. Used in combination, Read It Again! Language and Literacy, Read It Again! Social-Emotional, and Read It Again! Math provide professionals with evidence-based programming to develop young children’s skills across key domains over an academic year. All Read It Again! manuals are free and available for download.

Language and Literacy

Builds young children’s skills in four key areas of language and literacy:

  1. print knowledge
  2. vocabulary
  3. phonological awareness
  4. narrative

Read It Again! Infants and Toddlers (for birth to age 3)

Read It Again! PreK (for ages 3-5)

Social-Emotional

Builds young children’s skills in four key domains of social-emotional learning:

  1. self-awareness
  2. emotional functioning
  3. self-regulation
  4. social skills

Read It Again! Social-Emotional (for ages 3-5)

Math

Builds young children’s skills across domains that form the foundation of mathematical competence:

  1. number sense
  2. operations and algebraic thinking 
  3. measurement
  4. geometry
