RASPLOT is a software tool for creating flood profiles from HEC-RAS hydraulic modeling files. It is used for generating Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports to accompany Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) documents for communities participating in the FEMA National Flood Insurance Program.
RASPLOT allow users to create flood profiles through the automatic extraction of data from HEC-RAS hydraulic modeling files. Flood profiles are required for inclusion in the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports which usually accompany the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for communities participating in FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program.
