I haven’t posted anything personal on here in forever but I still remember posting on LJ in 2006 when we welcomed puppy Sam into our family, so for anyone still around, I wanted to share that yesterday we lost Sam at 13 1/2. She lived an extraordinary life full of adventure and we had 13 1/2 years with her but it still wasn’t enough time. It was unexpected and I’m grieving very deeply. Thankfully we still have her stinky little sister Pippa and in 2018 we added another amazing dog, Ruby, to our family, and they are helping us cope. We were so lucky to have had her and our lives are more empty without her.

I am glad I had time this weekend and remembered - I almost missed them!

I nominated two MTV shows. HA! Faking It and Finding Carter. I am totally hooked on Finding Carter - it's just so good and has Alexis Densiof as the shady father and the girl lead is awesome and there are just some great side characters.

Faking It is just funny. I laugh so hard every time I watch. It actually reminds me a bit of Undressed from when I was in college - did anyone watch that?

I'm looking forward to Yuletide this year. I haven't written in forever.

Yuletide was so fun this year - I got a great prompt and was matched on Eureka. I went back and watched the first season to write it, and it just reminded me how much I loved this show!

I am loving that it is Yuletide Time! It was hard thinking of what to nominate this year because I have so many fun new shows.

Last year I was just getting into Rookie Blue and now I know the awesomeness, so that got nominated, though I am currently torn on which of the four characters I want to request.

I also nominated The Americans, cause seriously fic about Elizabeth and Phillip from the time before they had kids would be AWESOME.

I nominated Gavin & Stacey cause I mainlined that last year and it was so much fun and I've been watching it again, and I nominiated Flashpoint cause it is over and I'm sad, but fic will cheer me up!

I can't wait to decide what to offer and ask for!
