1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rafflebase ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Rafflebase is a web-based platform for creating and managing fair, transparent random drawings. The Service provides:

• Raffle creation and management tools
• Cryptographically secure random winner selection
• Public and private raffle visibility options
• Participant entry management
• Audit trail and activity logging
• Email notifications for winners

Important: Rafflebase does not handle money, process entry fees, or fulfill prizes. We provide the drawing mechanism only. Prize fulfillment is solely the responsibility of the raffle organizer.

3. Account Registration

To create raffles, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. User Responsibilities

As a raffle organizer, you are responsible for:

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Obtaining any necessary permits or licenses for your raffle
• Clearly communicating raffle rules and prize details to participants
• Fulfilling prizes to winners as promised
• Handling participant data in accordance with applicable privacy laws
• Ensuring your raffle does not constitute illegal gambling

You acknowledge that raffle and lottery laws vary by location. It is your sole responsibility to understand and comply with the laws that apply to you.

5. Payment Terms

Publishing a raffle requires a one-time fee of $10 USD, payable via Stripe. This fee is:

• Non-refundable once the raffle is published
• Per-raffle (each new raffle requires its own fee)
• The only fee—no subscriptions or per-entry charges

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Rafflebase to:

• Conduct illegal gambling or betting activities
• Collect entry fees or payments from participants (use a separate payment processor if needed)
• Run fraudulent or deceptive raffles
• Collect participant information for spam or unauthorized marketing
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Rafflebase and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (raffle titles, descriptions, participant lists), but grant us a license to use this content to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Results will satisfy all participants

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rafflebase shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Disputes between organizers and participants
• Failure of organizers to fulfill prizes
• Legal issues arising from how you use the Service
• Loss of data or service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
