ProfHacks is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, political views, experience level, or chosen technology stack.

We do not tolerate harassment in any form. This includes inappropriate language or behavior in:

  • Hacks, demos, and presentations
  • Workshops and talks
  • Event spaces and social activities
  • Online platforms (including social media and Discord)

Harassment includes offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, unwanted contact, disruptive behavior, or any unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Photography is encouraged, but participants must respect others’ privacy and obtain consent when appropriate.

All participants—including sponsors, mentors, and volunteers—are expected to uphold this standard. Projects created during the hackathon must also adhere to this policy.

If you experience or witness any issues, please contact a member of the organizing team immediately. Organizers may take appropriate action, including warnings, removal from the event, or escalation if necessary.
