About Pro-Lock®
Until then the procedure had involved using heavy chains, Zenex padlocks, or single-use cable seals. While this worked, he believed it wasn’t the most efficient or cost-effective way of doing things. The chains were heavy, padlocks would sometimes seize in the harsh conditions. Cable Seals were expensive.
The Pro-lock device was the result. On the face of it a simple idea, but the culmination of many years of experience, in the Industry, and some technical help and support from friends and colleagues in the initial stages.
Pro-lock was finally granted a patent in 1997 and Pro-lock Valve Lockout Ltd was founded in 1998. Neil continued his employment with BP during the early stages, as the Company started Operating from Fleetwood, England.
Since then, Pro-Lock has grown year on year and can now say that we are one of if not the largest suppliers of cable valve lockout devices in the world.
Pro-Lock Devices
The Pro-Lock® valve lockout device was designed to replace any known valve lockout system and can work stand-alone, support additional security or fit seamlessly into existing permit-to-work systems. By securing with the Pro-Lock® Operating Tool, no additional security is required.
Seals
At Pro-Lock® we offer a wide range of security seals which include Aluminium and stainless steel cable seals, we also offer single-use polypropylene seals in a variety of colours and sizes. Most recently we have invested in Bio-Degradable seals to help reduce our plastic footprint and to help the business become more eco-friendly. All of our seals can complement the Pro-Locks for added security or can be used on their own.

Here at Pro-Lock® we offer a range of Lockout Tagout equipment from brass padlocks to hasps to mini circuit breakers and full Lockout Tagout kits.

Do your products come with a warranty?
All Pro-Locks come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We can ship to any country worldwide; prices will be available on the quote.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy if you are unhappy with the product, or you have received it and it is faulty. We will except all returns and offer a credit note in exchange.
Can you customise your products?

Can you collect products or arrange your own collection?
Collection in person is unavailable, however, you can arrange collection of goods through a freight forwarder if you prefer.
