Private folder is a free tool that can hide folders and create passwords to protect them. It is not visible in any folder list, including Windows Explorer and the command prompt. The only way to access the folder is to manually enter the path, and users will be denied access unless they unlock the folder with the PrivateFolder configuration tool. When accessing the folder, a password prompt will pop up, and access will be granted with the correct password without needing to unlock it from the configuration tool. The lock will automatically reset when the folder or its parent is renamed.
